Not lower key, he has that natural autotune voice that we have in Louisiana ESPECIALLY New Orleans, Lil Wayne has it too even though he’s not a singer. Me and my cousins all got that wavey electronic sound when we hit that certain note too. When I first heard Lucky I could hear it in “Roll Some Mo” and I said wait hold up he gotta be from Louisiana or have some roots some where and sho nuff Wikipedia said he from Nawlins 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I also think the grill made him sound different too or maybe he used the grill to muffle down how autotuney his voice would sound in person for a type of song like this done in person

Literally my favorite RnB song of last year into 2024. Amazing track honestly. Seemed like he sung this in a lower registry, which makes sense because this is an absolute beast to sing live. He killed it.

And it’s a New Orleans thang for us of Yoruba, Ewe and Fon lineage from slavery days out here in Louisiana that when certain of us sing and even talk we have a autotuney type of voice… me and my cousins and Lucky all have it when we sing and talk, even Lil Wayne though he doesn’t sing he has it in his voice when he talks that makes for a metallic and symphonic sound for a lack of a better explanation. I think the original in studio when it’s MASTERED in postproduction takes some of the natural autotuney noice out that you can clearly hear in Roll Some Mo, but it’s harder to do in person which is why I think he wore a grill while performing to muffle some of the tone off even though it made it more receptive in certain notes he hit.
