I’ve made covers from gift bags with designs I like. I solved the problem of figuring out where to cropodile punch by saving the plastic packaging on planners and use them as templates. I laid it down on the laminated cover, used a sharpie to mark the first hole, then slid the plastic template down so that second mushroom on the template lined up with the first marked spot on the cover, like you did with paper. Made the first punch in the cover easy and no planner pages ruined. I covered my very first try at covers with clear contact paper cut to size, but of course, no sparkly holo on it😢. I created a notebook for my runes studies using wooded trees scrapbook paper and rubber stamps for title, then bound them with the pretty HP tortoise shell discs. I love making stuff for my planners and journals. I never considered cereal boxes til I saw your first video on it. That made me hang on to other pieces of packaging I like to make bookmarks and dividers in my planner. Btw, Lucky Charms is my favorite junk cereal. I don’t eat it often, but sometimes it’s a treat. I also made homemade hot chocolate bombs using the charm marshmallows inside the bomb for St Patrick’s day. I am now lusting after a cricket, thanks to you. My birthday is tomorrow and I’m hoping I dropped enough hints to hubby and daughter…!

Hi Regina!! 💖💖✨ Happy Birthday!!! I hope you had a wonderful birthday and that you got everything you wanted!! Did you get a cricut? If so we can be cricut sisters, I just gifted myself a Cricut Explore 2 😂!! I've been OBSESSED with it. I'm printing out tons and tons of stickers right now and figuring out how to use the software. Ahhh I'm going to be able to print out my stickers now, I'm soo excited!!! Also YES that is such a good idea to use the recycled plastic packaging as a template. I have thrown that packaging away so many times 😭😭 Now I wish I had it. Yess anything can be turned into a planner cover and bookmarks! I was kicking myself later after this video because I realized I could use the side of the box as a bookmark! Next video I will remember to do that. Meaning I will have to work my way through another big box of lucky charms 😂😂 I love this cereal so much. That Hot Chocolate bomb sounds so good. I'm a HUGE hot chocolate fan...with mini marshmallows of course! But using the lucky charms one for St. Patty's day is SO cute! I'm going to have to try that 😂

@@laplanningdiva I didn’t get the actual cricut but I did get the money to purchase one for my birthday. My husband didn’t know which model to get, so now I’m looking over models to figure out which one to get. I want to choose the best for my needs.

Love this. I've now got plenty empty boxes saved to do this 🤣 [I find breaking the box at the seams so box is flat easier for cutting] Thank You for sharing.

Aww let me know how it turns out!! I meant to do another one of these for St. Patrick’s Day ☘️ and time just slipped away from me. I still have and love my Lucky Charms cover though!! 🩷 And I have a big idea for something inspired by this coming up!!

I love this! I was thinking about other cute cereal covers when you were doing this. I can't think of any off the top of my head. I would walk down the cereal isle and look. However, what does come to mind is nostalgic ones like Special K, Honey Comb, maybe a cute Cheerio one. Have you started making my Poo one? If not, I may want to switch. haha

Yeah I was thinking about what other cereals I could use for the cover but there's none I like as much as Lucky Charms!! Maybe the flinstones rainbow cereal, I forget what it's called! Yes, I have made your Pooh one! Did you want a different style? Let me know! 💖

Aww thanks for your support!! Yes I don’t have a laminator right now either so I have been doing DIY covers with tape. I don’t mind it at all although I am saving up to get a laminator one day. 🩷

I love your shimmery vynals! Where did you get them? I think they look awesome, and I think better than lamanation. But that is me

Yeah I think they are super cute too! I got them off Amazon. I just look for sparkly sticker vinyl, there's tons of different styles. I do like it but I feel the colors get a little diluted so maybe I'll try a standard clear laminate at some point! 💖
