I've got the same bag. I love that expensive hair serum-mask and I love the body butter. They are amazing! I actually used the mask not overnight but on the wet hair and let it air dry and it transformed my hair, made them look younger 😮 Try them, they are great and the whole bag is awesome.

Half the bag is not makeup. The palette makes up for some of that!

I got lucky this year too. I thought at first it wasn’t great, but I had a 540 bag. I don’t like hair products in boxes. I got that hair mask too. I use it during the day.

Happy New Year Miki! The ND Palette is the crown jewel of this bag for me. I am enjoying the body butter. It is fun to open these bags. Mystery and excitement wrapped in one.

Hi Michi is true the bag is missing the wow factor and is a bit frustrating that you got 3 hair products. I didnt get any this year but inded what we will hope for is getting a full set of Sonia G brushes. I didn't get any of her brushes this year. I have the Yucca palette and is lovely. It better suits your skin tone than mine 😊

A set of SG brushes would be a dream come true! I have not had a chance to try the Yucca palette. I am using the skin care products I got and so far enjoying both the body butter and eye gel.

That ND palette is great ... I have really enjoyed it with interesting colors to play with.

What a value!!! I loved hearing your thoughts! This was a wonderful video! I got 2 WG products, gloss and his terrible eye kohl again. My value was low $360, I wouldn’t have minded if it was last years total price but this year it was $20 more with the extra shipping and my state tax tacked on. This year was the worst in terms of wow factor. For $183 I paid, I expected something better, anything better. I did not get any new brands, I feel as if I got hosed in terms of value. I didn’t get any nice skincare bases either but they did send a ND tiny trial size of Bronze and Glow. I would have liked that CT Magic cream, or that Yummy Skin. I got DM Lightwork V, Holifrog eye cream, CT eye sticks in Pillow Talk, the 2 WG products, R+Co non-aerosol hairspray, and a Sonia G crease L. Next year, I’m getting a regular if I decide to order at all. I feel that I could’ve taken my $183 to Fab/Fit/Fun and got more bang for my dollar. I’ve cancelled FFF years ago because I was collecting too much stuff but it’s better than these Lucky Bags.

Thank you! I was always happy to receive an WG Eyeshadow palette, but most lip products would be a dupe for me. The extra shipping, although "only" $5 more did make me hesitate, because it was approaching $200 after taxes. The DM Lighwork V palette sounds amazing. I am about to declutter some really old CT eye sticks, but I do like them. I hope you enjoy the brush and a handful of other goodies though.

Wow!!! We got VERY similar bags & my value didn’t break $380. In place of skin care, got a bunch of Wayne Goss, so that explains it. Reaction was the same to WG as yours for to all the skincare.

Did you get more than 2 WG products? Hopefully no dupes for you. I generally enjoy WG, but don't think it would be a good customer experience to put more than 2 per box.

Hello beautiful Michi, I always look forward to your lucky bag video and after watching tell myself that I will treat myself to one next year and I never have…I think it’s the extra 40% I’d have to pay (Cdn $). I was excited about the Sturm shampoo and the Sonia G brush. Love that lipstick on you!

It’s a fun tradition. I hope shipping costs stems here. I didn’t know Canadian shipping and taxes was +40%! The shampoo sounds promising. I tried AB’s shampoo and conditioner and I can’t recommend. Did not work for me.

Your Lucky Bag is unique. I don't think I have seen someone else with a similar selection of items and I have watched a ton of these videos. I have seen one video where the person got the exact same box as me.

I got the same lucky bag. I'm disappointed on the hair products as well. The only thing I'm actually happy is the yucca palette and the sonia g brush. I have most of ND shadow palettes and was happy yucca is one i dont have. I do think we got lucky though.

@@MichiMakesUp I love the body butter although I would never in my life pay $75 for it. I was excited to get a Sonia G brush, but the jumbo worker would not have been my choice. I just use the hair mask last night and it was fine, but I would probably never buy that either. Pretty much the theme is I never would’ve bought these things on my own, but they are enjoyable.

I was pretty disappointed in my lucky bag. I’ve been getting them off and on since 2014 and I’ve never got an extra lucky one. I still keep buying them though lol

Any Susann Kaufmann product would make me happy, as well as Sonia G brushes or most Natasha Denona palettes, but in general, I would not have been happy with the bag. Glad I didn’t happen to purchase this year.

@@MichiMakesUp I am happy with the bag! I think we received the luckier bags. I have not seen a single bag that comes close. There are a couple of star items I have seen in other bags that I wish we would have had. However, overall it is a very nice bag. I do not own a single item in the bag so I call that a win. I am going to have to play with this unique palette to come up with some great looks.

I have been using the body butter. Not a fan of scented creams but this sinks into the skin without leaving crease behind. Really nice.

Totally agree. More well rounded would have been appreciated. I saw some people who got more than one Wayne Goss product too. Too many repeats on his products over the years (no offence to him). I have not gotten mine yet (I'm in Canada) but suspect I might be disappointed. We shall see...@@MichiMakesUp

I am using Kevin Murphy’s Repair Shampoo and Conditioner. It helps with bleached hair a lot!

I hate getting hair care products as I have very short hair so scrunchies and hair oils will never be used. Your bag was great! I wish I got that palette. The majority of people got two WG products. I was lucky and didn't get any WG products in my bag. My unboxing video is up if you are curious so see what I got. ❤

One is a plant which resulted in the name of a valley in CA (palette name came from this) the other is a root that you eat. It’s a lovely palette. That hair mask looks FABULOUS! More than 1/2 the bag is not make up. As a person interested in make up mostly (not interested in hair or skin care), I'd won't be buying this box in the future. Although the ND palette and Sonia G. brush make its worth it value wise .

I tried nearly ever single hair product I've gotten through these lucky bags and none have worked well for me so it was disappointing to get 3 hair products this year. I used to feel similarly with the skin stuff, but I've enjoyed a few of them quite a bit. And this time, I truly needed some lotion/body butter so this was timely. Agreed that if you're looking for makeup, this lucky bag lacks that!
