Nobody does this song better than Lucinda, but fans should know she didn't write it. "Can't Let Go" was written and performed regularly in concert by her good friend Randy Weeks. It was the biggest hit from her 1998 album "Car Wheels on a Gravel Road," and the only song on it that she didn't write.

I can't decide, they're both so great. Robert and Alison hit it out of the park, but this performance is just ferocious. I have to give the nod to the songwriter herself.
Saw Lucinda 2 consecutive nights at the belly up in solana beach it was the best being right up front there with her and her mercury 6 band.

Krauss and Plant's live version is far superior to their album version, but nothing touches Lucinda's live or album versions. She has so much power and control and passion. This is really one of my all-time favourite songs in the world!
