He's not supposed to be oppositional to humanity, at least not in SMT. This is his true original form, but all his other manifestations (demon, human, chained, etc.) were symbolic representations of his personality, alignment, and background.

Both Morning Star skills are cool af. But SMT Lucifer takes the cake on the *SHEER* intimidation factor. To see him manifest the LITERAL Morning Star and throwing it at you is enough to give up the mere notion that you are going to win.

Good remind that the sun is a star.

Did you know that Lucifer english VA is the same of Roy Campbell, Paul Eiding? So you have Nahobino looking like Raiden, and Demi-Fiend looking like Sam in this MGR Lightning Bolt Action RPG.

Some of commenters like P5 version of Morning Star because SMT’s is just A spirit bomb. But if you let him use that attack to you, I am pretty sure it will be memorable. I know because I did it and really shook me,

SMT V morning star attack looks so much better! I love Persona but SMT V nailed it!

Does anyone else think it would've been cool if in the 2022 Persona 5 rerelease they got Paul Eiding to record a line or two for Lucifer? It would've been a cool easter egg.

It’s hard being a MegaTen fan. When you have so many series under the same franchise like DDS, Devil Survivor, Raidou, SMT, Persona, and so much more, that when some people blow up at each other in the community, it really soils the mood. And I have to take a break from them for about a week or two. Especially when the people bicker over petty stuff, it gets more bothersome over time. However the franchise has left a positive impact on my life and I wouldn’t be the person I am today if I hadn’t touched the franchise, so I don’t regret being a fan.

I like Persona 5's Morning Star because it really does look like it comes from space and sorta reminds me of Xenoblade 2's spoiler blade's special where it looks like it is just a mp4 file being played for the attack. I like SMTV's Morning Star too but it sorta just feels like it is meant to be a fire attack and it doesn't look as mystical looking as other Morning Star's which I guess makes sense because Lucifer in SMTV is more of an active threat than just trying to be seen as a neutral mystery.

I feel it's due to interpretation. Lucifer in SMT V doesn't exactly play subtle and literally slams the Morning Star (for those that don't know it's another name for Venus which explains the fiery look) into you.

Smt v lucifer is the exact opposite of what you described him as. Lucifer no longer leads the forces of chaos that bethel fights and takes no part in the route conflicts. He’s an idle observer who awaits for nahobino to share his knowledge and take his throne in order to get him into breaking the mandala system

huh, so thats what those moves look like, honestly I killed Lucifer so fast in smt v that I never got to see most of what he could dish out.

The amount of boss phases Lucifer has is based on the ending you chose. Chaos and Law only give him a one-phase boss fight, but the secret ending has three full phases

@@CaliberStone I got the 4th ending on my first run and even then he died a bit to quickly. I did get to the phase where he summoned the morning star but one shot it and shaved off nearly half his health with Yoshitsune before getting to see the attack play out.

We don't normally see him in his angel form in the series very much. It's usually his giant horned demon form with the 6 bat wings, or what ever the hell his Satan forms supposed to look like.

@@jackour8167 In SMT V, during the final phase of his boss battle he takes a form that is different from the demonic form that appeared during Armageddon. His color palatte is brighter, his texture looks more metallic like the other angelic characters (namely Metatron), so I guessed that he returned to his archangel roots for that final portion of the fight.

demons as on how literally everything is called a demon in SMT? since they're using the old term that includes any Supernatural being. Then it's technically humans by their power of observation but it was gifted by the Axiom to them. Or the modern demon as in a demon from hell and apart of the forces of Chaos? Then it's Lucifur as he's the lord of Chaos and leader of the legions of Hell, but humans are responsible for their existence as per the power of observation. Satan in SMT is based on its original interpretation that its a Judge who judges humans and gives them trials and purges evil. Satan isn't opposed to God initially, but if he deems God evil or unfit to rule he'll go against him as we've seen in SMT 2 and Apocalypse
