There's a chance, since she already knows a "ghost" and believes in God (she still belives in divinity, but I think she now doubts God's great plan is actually a good plan). Also, she thinks of the Devil in way better terms than every person Lucifer has revealed to, so Ella's shock would basically consist in the realisation of having spend months with one of the most powerful beings ever.

I'm a big fan of her package. wow, she makes it hard to pay attention.

if she found out lucifer was the devil, I think she would be the only one not scared. ella is the only one who thinks the devil is just misunderstood. she knows the story of Samuel and him being casted to hell aka lucifer. she has a close relationship with lucifer and knows he wouldn't hurt her, so she wouldn't be scared. she would just hug him. Dan on the other hand would prolly move to South America

Lucifer can manipulate reality in the comics, so I’m guessing he can simply turn papers into money enough to open up “Lux” and get a steady income

Ella was so sweet and kind. Loved the character overall and I do wish she was clued in earlier in the series because I do believe that more Ella comedy type shenanigans would've happened especially with "The Angel of Death" lol.. Aimee Garcia was great in this series honestly.

When dealing with Lucifer, Ella Lopez, a popular show based off of the Sandman comics, you might as well ;)

In my opinion i don't think counting cards as they call it should be illegal in casinos. Basically it's just a persons intelligence in noticing patterns. Casinos just get angry when people win a lot and outsmart them without actually doing any cheating. It's all about strategy and keen eyes. If you see how Ella was acting during the game she didn't do anything wrong.

Counting cards is not illegal. If you are not "greedy" casinos really don't mind showing people winning at the tables. If you are "too successful", on the other hand, casinos can say you can't play at the blackjack tables any more. What is illegal is if you return to the property when you get banned form it. That is called "trespassing", which is a crime.

In NJ there was a court decision stating that a casino can not kick you out for counting cards, which is a stupid term anyway, so I'll rephrase: a casino in NJ can't kick you out for being a good player.

The pit bosses watch everything in their assigned pit. Everything. Ella was thinking of casino hosts, when she said they only worry about the whales.

This is why the cliche is the casino bosses rough you up--as you say, counting cards isn't illegal (it's just observation), so they have to come up with other ways to persuade you to go away (and stay away). Threatening to call someone's employer and reveal they're a card shark could be embarrassing--at least, if you're not Ms. Lopez, who seems perfectly comfortable with her hustling ways. ;)

I knew a card counter, it took 6 months to be found out by the casino. You have to make sure you have days of losing as well. It helped that he was Russian, no 9ne knew what he was saying WHEN he was swearing when he lost. Knowing him it was fart jokes

I live in Vegas and know that while counting cards is illegal, Ms. Lopez was not counting cards; merely making the correct play by doubling down. As a writer myself, the fault lies in the screenwriter's not fully doing their work. Love the series though there are a few changes I would make.

Counting cards is actually not illegal. It is just fine to do as long as you aren't using mechanical devices and things to do the counting. If you can count and keep track in your mind it's not illegal and they can't stop you besides asking you to leave if you start winning too much.

@@SohiHien The casinos love it when anyone doubles down, but their "eye in the sky" has full-time people watching for card counters. The giveaway, even for the best, is when they suddenly raise their bet amount. It's not tolerated! I live in Vegas and have seen "suspicious" behavior asked a player to step away from the table to be cautioned by the manager of several tables, to consider this a warning it won't be tolerated. Every casino has a photo of all previous card counters, and the "suspect" is identified as doing this before, he has a long ban from all casinos...unless the person is a "Whale"....meaning they arrive in Vegas in their private jet and losing 5 million is to them pocket change.

@@tedjajer6883 That exactly what I said. They can't arrest you because it's not illegal but they can ask you to leave if they suspect it and you are winning too much and it can get you on the blacklist. They can even extend the banning to all casinos that company runs.

Lucifer is misunderstood. He was and is doing God's bidding.

In real life, none of this would happen. A casino can only ban a person for counting cards and have them aressted for tresspassing if they return. Counting cards is not a crime. And although a lot of people can count one deck, I do not think there is anybody that can count a whole shoe.
