What would you say is the best way to get into Dominion5 multiplayer. I like the game and picked it up, but I am still overwelmed with all the different parts of the gamel, especialle gem use and research. Would you suggest to try out in single player or just look for multiplayer and be fine with losing a lot?

Great question. I would say try to beat the AI on normal difficultly 1 or 2 times - try following a guide for a nation that you think is cool. If you can beat the AI on normal difficulty then you're ready to try a new player MP game with the same nation you played in single player. (There are constantly games starting on steam, discord, and other groups) You'll probably lose your first few games, but you'll learn a ton and hopefully have a lot of fun! After your first two multiplayer games, depending on luck and a bunch of other things, you'll probably start being a real contender. Single player is good to learn the game mechanics, but multiplayer is where you learn the strategy :)

MA Ulm is a giant fuckoff sledgehammer that makes more hammers to hit you in the face with whenever it's not busy hitting you in the face. Pretty good choice for a newbie-friendly nation to demonstrate the early game with.
