me too, I read every book I can find, and am translating some from Italian to English, not easy cause I don't speak Italian, he is a huge personality in every way, not just the best richest most sweet beautiful voice but a worker for children in war torn country. he also helped so many young opera singers, many of whom are singing today. he sang with pop singers because he knew the power they had to attract attention and lots of money for his charities, he built hospitals school, music centres, go t many awards for his charity work, gave more than any other entertainer now and forever. Andrea bocelli, says he was the only singer who had it all, he had it all and measured it out beautifully without ever pushing, because. he was the complete package, the basic best voice, of all time, huge resonating chambers, 7 years of training, consummate control. beautiful rich, clear voice.

The BEST the very BEST tenor this world will have ever heard. Or been privileged enough too have seen perform live. From one tenor to another Luciano thank you for ALL the wonderful memories your gift gave us in this world. And i'm quite sure continues too give in the next.

Beautiful! I think he sang Che gelida manina the only one in a TV show. The interviews with him make me always smile. Thank you for posting this treasure!

Even if you're unfamiliar with opera or with Pavarotti...(if you're younger, you may not know him) but still, you must be stunned by his voice, the power and control as well as expression. Truly awesome. I would have loved to have been in that audience.

I would have loved to be in any or ALL performances, never did see him, I could have, but too stupid to notice his voice until 13 years after he passed, the great regret of my life.
