Just glad he and other Cup stars are running. Larson is running, Bowman, Stenhouse I think, Chase Elliott, other stars.

Hopefully sunshine can get it done this year.

I grew up in the 1970s going to ARDC midget races. I wanted to race quarter midgets. It just never happened.

This is 2020 it is in January

I look at that debris fencing. I have seen midgets jump higher than that. On far too many occasions. And what is those dumb and Fugly tails on some of those cars trying to be a spoiler? The traditional tail has far better aero qualitys

It isn't a spoiler. Fuel weighs approximately 7 pounds per gallon and it moves the weight closer to the rear axle and reduces unsprung weight. It has nothing to do with being a spoiler. Sammy was the first to do it when he won his fifth in 2007. The more weight that you can put over the rear axle as opposed to being behind it, makes the car handle more predictably when the fuel load lessens. With the fuel behind the axle, you will get a distinct push, understeer, when the tank is full and get loose when the tank empties.
