Lucas is the best talent we have seen in Sweden for a long time. it's hard to create a video that shows how good he really is. there is so much absolutely incredible action that is not in this video, but I understand that it is difficult to include everything. It's not just individual dribbles that are beautiful, but his game as a whole is on a whole other level. those of us who follow djurgården, where Lucas plays, know how incredibly talented he is. a couple of days ago there was a derby, where sweden's biggest competitors sparred. check out the highlights to see even more skill differences. he does look an absolute talent there is no doubt, but ALSO, these defenders are so bad , making him look alot better. one thing i would say is i remember the same types of vids about odegaard before he even joined real madrid, now he is cooking in the prem. so i say best of luck to the guy

I think it was more that he's likely to be in the first team squad for his development - not the U21's (or presumably out on loan). But I suppose Ange will see what he's like in training and go from there.

@@TiahraThankyew That might be but he's just turned 18 and last game, arguably the biggest game in Sweden, Djurgården-AIK he was the best player on the field with margin to spare. It's not for the faint at heart these games.

@@TiahraThankyew Yes it would be a rough challenge to go from Allsvenskan to Premier League. However he is literally Djurgårdens best player this year, just turned 18. The difference from last year is crazy, he has developed so much compared to when he joined Djurgården last year. He was very impressive then, but the way he has matured and become better in every aspect of the game is something we've never seen before. He'll be ready for PL 2025, I'm certain.

He has developed his pressing and defensive play a lot since last year. The club he plays for now likes to controll the ball, play possession and put high pressing after losing the ball which he has done brilliantly 2024. Said it before, but he is literally our best player this season and he just turned 18. There's a reason he is the most expensive transfer from Sweden.

Looks like hes got heaps of natural talent, serious feet 👌

Lucasberibal's ball handling ability is likely to be superior to anyone else in Tottenham's first division.

Honestly the way he has developed since last season (season ended in november 2023) is unreal. He's gone from a youngster to our key player in just a few months. I'm certain, if he keeps developing this rapidly he will be ready for Premier League 2025.

I'm gonna be honest, as a swed, he is good but not THAT good, if you had ever seen Allsvenskan would you know the defending here is horrible, just look at when he plays they are giving ALOT of space and fails alot with the tackles and rather does Pepe tackles instead of actually getting the ball, most aim for the legs, just look at the Djurgården defenders

The Swedish League that had players like Alexander Isak, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrik Larsson, Fredrik Ljungberg, Elanga, Gyökeres? Pure talent can be found anywhere, no matter the quality of the league.

Unfortunately Sweden ain't the Prem. The signing is a gamble. I hope he comes through.

I think he should go straight into the first team. Maddison's honeymoon period is over, and now we're seeing he isn't as good as we thought. Not to mention, his attitude towards other players on the pitch has been terrible lately.

Most off the "impressive" actions in this video is against Swedish non-league teams.

You are most definitely supporting AIK or Hammarby as well. Which are the two weakest clubs in Stockholm (AIK ended up 11 last season). Whileas Djurgården is miles ahead of those shitty clubs. Swedish League might not be on par with the top 5 leagues, but somehow it produced players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrik Larsson, Fredrik Ljungberg, Elanga, Gyökeres. You are just salty because you root for a shit team that is lower in the hierarcy.
