Also, it doesnt only apply to strenght. Speed on both body movements and Senses can be turn super human and break world records BY a normal person. It only happens on Accidents where theres life and death situations thats why we are not aware of its existence Since its not everyday we ecounter such things. The Goal of ALL athlete is to DO this Feat of Strenght conciously, at there Will and without the negative effects. The ONLY reason theres negative effect is cause our body isnt used to it.

Just to weigh in there are actually 4 aspects to strength. 1) Is the coordination and learning of a movement, this doesnt transfer to other activites 2) Is the effect training has on the nervous system and making its rate coding for a muscle more efficient and coordinated, this has some carry over to other activities, i.e. making your body good at squatting will also make you good at jumping.

Yes indeed me too, I freaked out yesterday because the judges wouldn't let him do the last snatch. I could saw it on his face that he was going to lift that 177kg like a feather lol

They do, I could see DHS, Zhang Kong and Eleiko brands in there which are all IWF certified.

This is also why people psyche themselves up before a big lift and/or sniff ammonia, it causes the release of adrenaline simulating a life or death situation which inhibits the golgi tendon organ response and temporarily makes you a little stronger (though nowhere near as strong as if your gf were trapped under a car or something). This is also why 1RM attempts cause more injuries and take longer to recover from, exceeding the golgi tendon activation threshold damages your muscles and tendons.

The dude said their actual training time is 2 hours, starts at 3PM. I guess the rest of the day are consists of warmups, mobility works, or accessory drills

lu haojie is gonna give him a run for his money. also watch out for hysen pulaku, barely did 188 at 2011 WWC but just hit 211/166 in training, definite medal contender.

Who would even plan on doing clean and jerk when your inside a burning building and you see dead people around you? You wont do clean and jerk but if theres anything thats blocking your way you would be able to pick up 3x your own weight to save your own life. Yes, we are talking about the same thing, the body has its own limiter and trainer reduce. BUT no one has even made it zero by training. Only time the Limiter goes zero is on accidents. So Yes, zero limiter means max strenght.
