He made a nonstop big deal about his rank in SFV because his rank is completely fake lol. Along with factors such as skating up it at the beginning of the game's life when there were literally no ragequit penalties, one and done'ing people, and blocking everyone better than him, he had others rank up his tags for him. That's why he clutches his status in that game while simultaneously maintaining it's somehow a fake game. He's a Gold-level player at best and hopefully SF6's Capcom ID system and consequential ragequitting penalties stomp him down to remain in the casual-level ranks he belongs.

Both LTG and DSP use performative annoyance and frustration to mask their failure.
