As per request of my discord community, I'm reacting to another song and another artist I've never heard of. @iamlpofficial totally blew my mind in this live performance of her song Lost On You (Live) and I can see why it has over 1 billion views!

You can hear her pain… LP wrote the song after realizing that her girlfriend was not going to be her partner anymore. "I felt like my lover was drifting away - slowly leaving the building - and there was nothing that I could do,"
She's epic, isnt she?? Can't believe she's not more well known in the US (as yet!) 👏

We've heard of her. It's just the music industry is so corrupt that she has to sell songs to people like Beyonce.
Aaaaaaw I love them so much 😍 LP is such an outstanding artist. That whistle gets me tingly every time 😂
She is amazing , 1.2 billion
I haven’t even watched your reaction yet and I already know you’ll love it and sooooo excited
Love LP! This was the first song I heard with her as a singer, knew nothing of her before that, and I actually really thought she was a man until she started singing - then I was mesmerized and have been a fan ever since!
You have me dying in laughter❤😅
What an amazing talent LP is. Your voice is so soothing, loved this reaction.
WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK-NOISE WAS THAT??!! Is my favourite reaction so far Awesome Thank you Liked, subscribed and shared on FB headlined by your now immortal quote 💖🙏🔥🎤🎶👌
I just recently discovered her, in fact I heard "Lost on You" a few times over the radio in 2022 but never realized who she was. Watching the music video I wasn't THAT impressed so I found that live version and damn, this one nails it. She's an exceptional artist, doing difficult things with her voice as if it was everday business. She's also a fully educated opera singer, that explains the last part with her high voice. But she makes it seem so easy, like it was nothing. Just incredible. Just... incredible.
I found you through a reaction to the Warning..but then i saw you react to Ren(and you SO GET IT) AND then I see you have an entire playlist for LP?!?!? Be still my eclectic heart! I love your content!!

Clearly, you have great taste in music.
LP’s Mom was an opera singer and it shows!
Only discovered LP recently, but loving everything so far❤🇬🇧
She’s incredibly talented. She’s got some catalog. She’s another rabbit hole worth delving into. One of my favorites rn PS. If you could react to @EthanBortnick - Engravings, I really think you’ll dig it. He’s an incredible pianist who modernizes the craft. It’s pretty exciting stuff IMO
One of my favorite songs of all time!!! Funny you mention Cher; LP is more well-known as a writer in the industry, and has penned hits for Cher, Rihanna, the Backstreet Boys, Céline Dion, and Christina Aguilera, just to name a few. BTW: to answer your question, "What in the actual fsck noise was that??!?": her parents were both classically-trained opera singers :)

I thought only her mother was the singer; I was under the impression that her father was an attorney. Either way, she is a stunning vocalist, and one of my favorites.

@@dropbarracuda That's a great way to put it! 😂😂 I'm not sure we all could handle LP if she inherited musical ability from BOTH parents!
I was also not one of the one in seven, but I loved it. Thanks for the reaction.
Thank you Walterooski... I thought you'd love her. Everything about LP is fascinating and I'm totally enamoured.
Best reaction ever. I watched it 1.5 billion time myself.
Just saw her Oct 23/23 in Oakland 5:09 , CA. DO NOT MISS SEEING THIS WOMAN LIVE!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I actually came to this song in a backwards way. I saw a cover of this overlayed with Hans Zimmer (done by Scott Hoying and Mario Jose and fantastic), and decided to check out the original which in turn led to visiting a few other LP songs. I hadn't seen this live version, though. Thanks for another great reaction. Maybe there will be enough views to turn the ratio to 1 in every 6....
Watching you react to this is brilliant! Discovering LP changed my life 🎉 She is mesmerising ❤🙌🏼😍
Oh I didn't expect you to get into LP! Lovely surprise :D
I'm obsessed.
This is a standout performance. I have no idea who LP’s band is but they’re supreme artists of their own right. I’m not keen on comparisons but for a micro second I understood the Cher reference.
This is the song that got me hooked on LP over 4 years ago, and I've been listening to her songs ever since. I wish I could relive that moment when I heard her voice for the first time. 🥰 Loved your reaction! I also love that you're reacting to Ren. I've not stopped listening to his songs since his music found me almost two months ago. Subscribed!
Never heard of her or this song before either. I was blown away. LOVE IT
Rooski brotha!!! Love your reactions and "rediculously excited" that you have come across LP. Her songwriting is fantabulous. Please check out the songs " Into the wild" and "Levetator". The live versions.
Never heard this before and OMG Im so here for it! 😍
This was awesome ❤❤ Sidenote: She has written songs for Cher 😅
This is great. I had never heard it either.
I've watch many people react to LP, you're the person to mention the great guitar playing, his solo is so good.
Love your reaction! It is my feeling when I discovered her in 2018.❤ I am still obsessed.
What an amazing tune.... ✊🏽
I heard someone call her a " heart shaped soprano" 😎 one of the voice coach reactions I viewed I believe.
Love this reaction. I love LP and got to see this performed live a few months ago in Melbourne Australia and it sounded just like this. Perfection! Great reaction. I subbed :)
New to me...beautiful. thanks Walter...❤ do you know faouzia? Tears of gold (stripped) or any other stripped are my favorite...
I love that when you pause at 6:50 you are definitely pointing out some super interesting deets on the guitar but when they come back after the solo... your reaction is brilliant! LP is beautiful.
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Great song great voice...great vibes....🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Wow 😮 thanks for bringing this to the Rooski fam! What an experience ❤
Reminds me of Reba McEntire. I do see why it would be popular, and this my friend is why I appreciate music reactors so much! I found Ren, Bad Omens, Sleep Token, and Dayseeker to name just a few from reactions and all of those artists have songs in my everyday at work playlists, Ren by far being the best new artist I EVER EVER, have had the pleasure of listening to. Thanks for existing man and doing this for us because it’s been far more to me than entertainment. It has been true therapy for more than only me.
Yes just subbed. I love L.P. Reactions. Ever heard any Blue October?
Thank you so much for reacting to LP and please do check out her cover for halo live

She has the voice of a goddess. I'll definitely be diving deeper into the catalogue and that was my next stop. In the meantime, my premier for Muddy Waters starts in about an hour and a half! kzread.info/dash/bejne/qmWsqcOMmba8aLQ.html

@Walterooski yes I already hit the notification button, looking forward to see more of her here already subscribed so I won't miss when you react to her, LP is absolutely amazing I have been to two concerts of her and she's just amazing live and a very sweet down to earth person
I discovered LP's music after listening to Scott Hoying's and Mario José's version of this song three years ago. I like the original and their version both very much. Here is the link to Scott's and Mario's cover kzread.info/dash/bejne/kaqVq5mpf83JYLA.html

Listen to her do Muddy Waters and a live cover of Beyonce's Halo. LP is just flat out creatively amazing. Love your insights and reactions!
I think you'd love the Avett Brothers. Check out The Once and Future Carpenter, Murder in the City, Laundry Room (live at Bonnaroo 2012 is one of their best versions), The Ballad of Love and Hate, and Through My Prayers just to get started. Not many reactors review this group and they're missing out.

Believe it or not, I’m already a former fan that’s invested great time into them. They are a band I like, don’t get me wrong, but there is a certain unavoidable and deeply personal sting that comes with this particular band. I’ve heard most of their music up until about 2 years ago and then I haven’t listened since. Long story - maybe another time 😂

@@walterooski I get it. This band has meant a lot to me over the last dozen years or so. Their last couple albums not so much but they will always be a special band to me.
you need to listen to LP tightrope and muddy waters -those song are so good too

I've actually done a reaction to Muddy Waters! Tightrope will be coming soon!
Nice reaction, plis react more to Lp, muddy waters is good 👍
As if LP could be a smoker 😆 she's a virtuoso
Thank you for your reaction I love it !!💖💖Please react to Dimash Kudaibergen "" Stranger ""... He has an incredibly fantastic technique, and a unique voice..he is definitely the best..🤩🤩Love from Turkey..💖
Oh gawd , another constant pauser
You mentioned Cher similarities near the begining of the video. Wikipedia mentions that she has written for "Cher", Rihanna, the Backstreet Boys, Leona Lewis, Mylène Farmer, Céline Dion and Christina Aguilera. Just wondering why she is not as well known a solo artist?
If you account for the number of unique viewers and not frequent repeat views, the number of people who have watched the original video would most likely be only a few million or so not the large percentage of the world’s population that you seem to think. This is done to a far greater extent on TikTok by having their videos on loop repeat, it inflates their views to a extreme degree making them seem a lot more popular than they actually are. A single person can give a video ten views to a short clip before they even know it. Still an amazing song though.
dude.... you are SPOT ON., with the Cher reference... YES... i couldnt figure that out... her voice is AWSOME and kinda familiar but i couldnt put my finger on it... and THATS IT .... theres a very Cher like quality... young Cher ... to her voice... im new here ... never seen your channel before... im subbing as of this moment.... cool man.... you know your shit... peace... ✌😎
I can’t believe you’ve never heard of LP either. Better late to the party than never though! LP is dropping a new song May 10 called Golden, btw.
Eartha Kitt
i think she has a little edith piaff going on
Don’t wait me. But some Janis Joplin ?
could you stop talking and let the son play,,,then talk!
1 in 7 people?? C’mon, you know that’s bullshit. Based on how many times I’ve personally listened to an LP playlist on repeat, divide that by about 100…. Strangely she is much more well known in Europe, even though she’s been a songsmith for decades and has written hits for many top US artists. Regardless, LP is a unique musical wunderkind, a treasure!

You're absolutely right, I know it's not 1 in 7 people haha, I was just making a comment on it having a billion views. In my opinion, 1 in 7 people or more SHOULD know about LP though, if not everybody. She's fantastic. I can't get enough of her work haha
