That Giovanni djembe has a nice sound it’s actually has a dryer sound it almost sounds like a timbau

I have a similar Djembe it’s a moperc Djembe maid out of ash but it’s 13” in diameter and it’s the same type of wood as the Giovanni Djembe.

this instrument is not from a barrel, traditionally but from a log. it should has been made from one piece. these are the cases where a product from a manufacture brand is worse than its traditional version. btw, Giovanni signed my Ricardo Conga and he didn't know Lp makes it. He liked it a lot.
