Hello, I would like to know what amperage (A) the battery (12V) that you use has and what autonomy you have (number of hours of use). I'm asking you this since you only depend on it to keep the Elite FS 9 powered on. It would be of great help to me since I am in the same circumstance. Greetings.

Hi, this is the only shot of Lawrence where there is no dark parallel lines just inside of ground image on side view, are your settings different or is it the fact that u r scanning 150 plus feet ?

It's because he is using 455khz, the dark lines is only on 800khz and is on all brands.

I'm thinking someone. Took a couple to many lines this morning hmmmmmmm

I have a Lowrance Elite FS 9" - I have a problem? I have a hard time seeing the sonar screen while sunny and wareing sunglasses. Any tips? I have to bend down put my face right up to screen while shading area as best I can with my hand. Its like running blind when your driving boat do to not being able to see screen. It's the glare.

Adjust the screen brightness? If it’s not that obvious as that, check the terminal connections and make sure your battery is charged. I hook mine up to the same battery as trolling motor, so at the end of the day it does sometimes go dim if my battery is drained.

@@Sailor_Zeb pretty sure you can do up to 400 feet.

Have you noticed if the depth continues to read consistently when your travelling at a faster speed?

If you angle the ducer down a hair, it will read ground at 23mph. If ducer is level, it loses contact around 17mph. My boat gets on plane at 15 mph.

Don’t think so. The base maps are U.S. based. But you could probably buy maps for other countries.

İ learnt that the lowrance devices at USA has a gps limitation, and they dont work out of USA.

No. I have only had Lowrance, so that’s why I chose this one. I think that it had Ethernet capabilities and also ready for active target (FFS) is why I chose this over hummingbird.
