Akala part 1 and lowkey part1 were very early fitbs. They set the standard. People knew if they were going to do a fitb they just had to bring their A game.

*Lowkey* murders the alphabet in 3 different ways. First with *Alphabet Assassin* in 2008 where he goes forwards. Then with this *Fire in the Booth - Part 1* in 2010 where he uses a load of acronyms, and spelling stuff out. Then with his *Fire in the Booth - Part 2* in 2017 where he goes backwards. You'll notice most of the stuff from his *FITB's* appear in some of his songs and other freestyles. Here's the acronyms explained: *HMV* = *His Masters Voice* - The biggest entertainment store chain in the UK. It sells everything related to film, TV, music and gaming, like DVD's, Blu-rays, CD's, computer games, games consoles, headphones, earphones, games contollers, film/TV/music related books, posters, clothes and other related merchandise. It's biggest rival used to be *Virgin Megastores* until 2007, when *Zavvi* took over. However even though *Zavvi* only managed to last for a couple of years on the high street, *HMV* is stuggling like most high street chains today, in the online world, which is annoying for people like me who don't shop online. *KFC* = *Kentucky Fried Chicken* - One of the biggest chicken fast-food chains in the world, and also just the acronym for the food itself. *HMP* = *Her Majesty's Prison/Her Majesty's Pleasure* - When someone is in prison, they are being detained at "Her Majesty's Pleasure" as the Queen is technically in charge of everything. *A&E* = *Accident and Emergency* - The area of a hospital where people go when they're in need of urgent medical attention. *LDN* = *London.* *NYC* = *New York City.* *MIB* = I've no idea what he means, as the only *MIB* I know is the *Men In Black,* which doesn't really fit the context. *BIG* = *The Notorious BIG* - Rapper from New York. *MVP* = *Most Valuable Player* - The greatest person in their chosen field. *VIP* = *Very Important Person* - Someone who gets special treatment. *CD* = *Compact Disc.* *DVD* = *Digital Versatile Disc.* *BBC* = *British Broadcasting Corporation* - The biggest TV network in the UK. Possibly the biggest radio network in the UK, however they have stong competition from *Bauer, Global* and *Wireless Group* if they are. Possibly the biggest news network in the UK, however again they have stong competition from *ITN* and *Sky* if they are, plus all they have all the print media companies like the *News UK, Reach, DMGT, GMG, TMG, JPI Media, Newsquest* etc to compete with too. *ITN* = *Independent Television News* = As mentioned above they're probably the 2nd biggest news company in the UK after the *BBC News* as *ITN* run *ITV News, Channel 4 News* and *Channel 5 News.* It's also a production company which focuses on factual shows and documentaries. *ITV* = *ITV plc* formerly known as *Independent Television* - The 2nd biggest TV network in the UK. The biggest production company in the UK. The biggest producer of non-scripted shows in the USA. Has the 2nd, 6th and 7th most watched channels in the UK (it's flagship channel was the most watched channel in the UK between 1981 and 2001). In other words they try to act like gangsters, but are teddy bears really. *GCSE* = *General Certificate of Secondary Education* = The qualifications you get at the age of 16 in *Secondary School* which Americans call *High School.* *COD* = *Call of Duty.* *PS3* = *PlayStation 3.* *DP* = Most likely stands for *Dead Prez* the Hip Hop group. *PE* = Most likely stands for *Public Enemy* the Hip Hop group. *KRS* = *KRS-One* - Rapper from New York. *BDP* = *Boogie Down Productions* - Hip Hop group which had *KRS-One* as a member. *MP* = *Member of Paliament.* *ADD* = Most likely *Attention Deficit Disorder* - Now known as *ADHD* (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). *PG* = *Parental Guidance* - Films suitable for children under the age of 12. *KKK* = *Ku Klux Klan.* *AK* = *Avtomat Kalashnikova* - A range of guns designed by Mikhail Kalashnikov, most likely referring to the *AK-47.* *AKA* = *Also Known As.* *AA* = *The AA plc* formerly known as *The Automobile Association* - British company which provides breakdown cover, vehicle insurance, driving lessons, route planners, and other vehicle services or advice. They also now provide things unrelated to vehicles like mortgages, home insurance, holiday home insurance, contents insurance, building insurance, life insurance, pet insurance, savings accounts, loans, credit cards, travel currency cards, wills and testaments etc. *ASAP* = *As Soon As Possible.* *DDT* = Wrestling moving where there's debate as to what the letters actually stand for. *JLS* = *Jack the Lad Swing* or *Jealous* - Either would fit as *JLS* are a *Pop/R&B* boyband, so he could be accusing them of being mainsteam, or he could just be saying they're jealous.

The reason why the guy's who can flow usually talk about actually something is because Akala, lowkey are independent no label own them label's don't care about talent but mainstream influence an artist has and I think lowkey is west London same as me but not sure what specific part.

I think Akala 4 is the best Fire in the Booth of all time but this is one of the originals. This was done I believe back in 2011. So crazy. Charlie has helped to Puch UK independent grime artist. Lowkey Mic Righteous Akala Wretch 32 Dave and so many more top UK artists many of these guys not mainstream they are known bit a lot that you will never hear on the radio. Lowkey Akala and the likes of Logic will never be heard by the mainstream because they don't want people to look beyond what they have been told. This is not the most conscious rap but if you listen hard enough there are messages through out this whole FITB. You never heard of Lowkey before because they don't want to acknowledge that he exists.

I wish he could flow a bit more consistently. That’s the main reason I don’t check him much. He always starts off smooth then his flow goes off beat. Especially in booth his fire in the booths. Same problem with Akala. Akala’s flow is much much more inconsistent then Lowkey. Saying that, I do like the message they portray. Especially Akala, he has such a wise mind and is full of wisdom. The guy is mad intelligent and I do respect both guys.
