One thing I noticed is that your diver has a dent on the left side of his helmet, which I would assume is do to mishandling, but I also noticed it on mine, so it may be an intentional choice, weird!

Oh Yeah. The more I see the more I really like this one. finally they make a display in which I can envision multiple creative uses. My biggest peeve is not the price. It is the corny Cartoonish voice. It detracts from the scare aesthetic. If I get this I would opt to turn off the goofy voice, and I would add some unsettling ocean noises, or atmospheric SFX. I agree with you Griffin . This is a winner.

hi gm haunts im not sure if you know this or not but either by accident or on purpose spirit halloween released some of thier animatronics online on thier website including all of the demo videos and stock images the animatronics are cotton candy dan, the creamator , mack straw , creepy towering clown , demonic gatekeeper , gravestone ghoul maybe this was planned but i didnt hear the news but yeah thats what i noticed when i went onto spirits website the animatronics this year are going to be great cant wait for this year !!!!

Great video, thanks! I just set mine up tonight. Typically I turn off the sound and motion on my props. I can do that with this but I'd like to have the green helmet light on 24/7 rather than motion activated. I don't see that as an option on the controller. Any ideas on how to make that happen? Any kind of hack with the wiring maybe? Thanks again.

Ha! You’re the first one to point that out and there’s actually a reason for it… when I wear shoes on the platform, footprints from the wet grass form on the wood and it looks bad in the video. But yes, sock review 🤣

Was your divers motor insanely loud? For a near 400 dollar animatronic…his motor motion is louder than his audio lines at nearly full volume …

I'm confused about the lighting. In the daylight demo nothing inside the helmet shows up. In the night time demo, where are the lights coming from? Are they your lights? Please explain how the lighting works.

The lighting is inside the helmet but it can't be seen during daylight as it's too bright outside!

What do you think about him Griffin?? Do you think he is worth the price tag? I feel he is a bit steep for what he does although he really is cool. That Scooby Doo nostalgia might be enough for me😂

Honestly, no, I wouldn’t say he’s worth the price. For $300 total, I think it would be okay but almost $400 with tax for a prop with one animation is incredibly, incredibly high!

@@GMHaunts yea I agree tbh, the weather proof thing definitely helps but then again I believe every prop should be weather proof. I try to compare something like this to Party City’s Leatherface for 360$ last year. Almost no animation is nuts for something like that at that price!!

do you have any grim reaper props or anything that rises up from a coffin? why is this prop called the haunted deep sea diver?

How do you know it can withstand the outdoors? Usually people will cover the inside of the animatronic with a heavy garbage bag...

This guy is outdoor-rated so in theory he should be okay in the rain. However, for extra protection just to be sure he's safe, a garbage bag would be a good idea!

@@GMHaunts thanks but I'm curious, where does it say that he's outdoor rated? I don't see it on the box or the web... Plus, the environment in Florida is subtropical, so we get Tons of heavy rain. I would worry about leaving him out there unprotected.

Personally not a fan. What you get for that price tag doesn't match for me. I did not see much of a side profile in your video, but from a little bit I captured he looks like he's really thin like he could use a lot of padding in the arms and in the chest area especially. At 15:31 he looks so skinny. Is that reality or just what I saw on the video?

Yes, he could definitely use some filling. You can fluff him out but yeah he's pretty skinny out of the box.
