Thanks for the great video! I believe I understood the concept of taking higher timeframe to know the bias or trend (up, down or sideways) and then taking the entry using the lower timeframe in the direction of the higher timeframe bias but I have got couple of questions for you. I am new to the trading so my question might sound a bit naïve. Higher and Lower timeframes are relative terms. There can be countless number of variations one can find such as 1 year -> 6 months -> 3 months -> 1 month -> 1 week -> 1 day -> 4 hours -> 1 hour -> 30 minutes -> 15 minutes -> 10 minutes -> 5 minutes -> 1 minutes -> so on.. etc. etc. Question 1: which timeframes do you usually use to trade? Question 2: why those specific timeframes?

@Swap J -Yes...HTF & LTF are relative to each other. HTF Higher timeframe is any timeframe above a LTF Lower Timeframes. Avoids having to say specific timeframe when your teaching generic approach. 1. Which timefranes to use ? Markets are cyclic & fractal. Means trading concepts apply to all timeframes. A novice might say which timeframe is best. An informed trader will know it doesn't matter...same thing happens on each timeframe...how much you make depends on what timeframe you select to trade. 2. Why use timeframes HTF for set-up (chart pattern identification) LTF for execution (exact entry-exit of trades) A day trader might use HTF LTF as H4 & M5 A swing trader might use W1 & H4 A scalper might use M5 & M1(or less ie 15sec 130sec) A positional trader use MN1 & D1 Suggest : learning to trade there really are only two types based on market operators. - SD trading - Speculative trading SD (Supply & Demand) trading follows market operation where "market operators >complete Supply & Demand transactions (eg buying & selling) >resulting in PRICE volatility >traders profit using SD trading strategies." Speculative trading follows alternative market operation where "market operators >speculate (bet on price/market makers manipulate price) >resulting in PRICE Volatility >traders profit using Institutiona & Retaill strategies (Price Action/Smart Money trading / Technical Analysis/Fundamental Analysis) Both are acceptable but Institutional Trading promises much Higher RRR ie 1:10+ per trade & Retail Trading lower RRR ie upto 1:10 per trade.

Realistically these trade can be taken a lot faster more efficiently minimizing less indication during first confirmations. What your doing here are safe trades to shorten out drawdown low as possible for a potential outcome of holding long as possible which are time consuming results when really all it takes are a few scalps and a pip goal to measure up where you left off at once price enters that certain area again without account being blown. No trade can be completely safe guarded from drawdown unless they’re position strategies. So instead of biting off more than can chew take small amounts and further yourself ahead using high risk reward ratio bit by bit on high lot sizes cause every point in percentage isn’t required you can still capitalize next time off another entry same exact way amongst smaller time frame.

How do you recommend backtesting strategies that use a lower TF to gain an extra confluence or two. I use tradingview and I simply can't backtest on the 15 or 5 min TF past the last few months.

The imbalance there only makes the 1 min order block valid ....when order blocks are made i.e last buy or sell candle before the large move ,imbalances are formed...so they only compliment an order block nothing more

This abrreviations are used as labelling for wycoff distributions: these alongside accumulation are one of the footprints of the big banks ....before the banks can trade they need to accumulate and distribute their orders thereby manipulating retailers out of their trades
