In my area they seem to have stopped selling the Bosch 12v line. Have had some good deals on bare tools in stock.

I got the chameleon last year clearanced out for around 80 bucks. my lowes still sell the 18v and some 12v but most is clearanced out

If anyone has been watching the dewalt 20v 3/8th & 1/2in ratchet with claimed 70ft lbs of torque to come down in price but hasn't moved from it $250 price tag has a deal now at $279 you get the ratchet with interchangeable anvil for 3/8ths & 1/2in plus 2 (1.7amp) smaller powerstack battery the smaller charger a bad & belt clip but each location has 2 to 3 tops in stock ..good luck hope this helps someone.

About those 12V DeWalt tools, or any brand of 12V power tools…..when will somebody make a 12V cord adapter so those 12V tools could run off of your cigarette plug in your automobile, or at a minimum, with cable clamps to hook up directly to the auto battery terminals! That would be cool!

I agree I've found some good deals/clearance at the end of the year or beginning of the new year those are my favorite times!

I was really hoping for something better with the Flex power tools, but not much so far.

Just a heads up. I don’t know about your local stores, but I have noticed power tool kits on the overstock shelves that have a sticker on the box that says inactive. That sticker means it’s no longer a stock item. It really pays to have the person in the tool department pull something down if you’re interested in buying it because they are going to put it on clearance. The manager might give you a killer deal on it. I saw a 36 volt Metabo HPT hammer drill with two batteries and a charger on the shelf, and the guy said it’s on clearance for $167. I’m wondering if the manager would take a little more off the price. Anyway, some of the clearance deals are better than the Black Friday deals.

@@AllThingsCool That’s how I got a killer deal on the $499 Flex hammer drill, impact driver combo with the stacked lithium batteries. Unfortunately, the drill had a defective chuck, and it was the only one they had, so I ended up getting a refund.
