Only reached 5 br on a couple of nations and br 1 still feels more balanced overall. better than once you reach 2.7 and T34s, Sherman's and KVs make me want to cry.

It's not just a 37mm gun, it's a sub caliber shot from a 37mm gun, meaning the actual projectile sans the sabot is even smaller. Making it even more impressive.

Fun fact: The Strv m/31 can be played like an IS-2: Having your back towards the enemy (20mm of armor+engine, instead of 24mm of armor + crew) thanks to its reverse speed

I actually played like that (a few months ago) and clapped 15 people the round with that Strat on br 2.0 ... it is just hilarious trolling around like that

Gotta love how they give these shells to these guys, but at the same time deny early french vehicles armed with 37mm guns(both short and long) their APCR and APDS shell while saying they can't do anything about that. Woopsie...

@@jake_russ Brits actually removed the HE filler from M61 shells and filled them. APHE was not good irl early APHE tended to shatter before penning or just not fusing. Testing done by multiple nations showed that it barely produced more damage and that it wasn't worth the trade off.

You and OddBawz both demonstrating the broken tanks in Swedish tree. I love it. Do one with the Lvtgbt SPAA that sits at 2.7. That thing shreds everything.

Dollar i have a little tip for Strv m/31, when playing CQC face your rear to the enemies if u get shot your engine and trans will absorb most of the damage and the only way to kill your tank will be from turret penentrations. also Strv m/31 reverse speed is 20 km/h

I also do this with Sherman tanks if I get caught in a bad situation and they don't shoot my turret first.

It's pretty delicious to see you fully up-tiered to BR2.0 and yet it's the Pz.IVs getting bullied.

The thing that makes low tier so balanced is that the armour is thin all round. This means that there are only a handful of tanks that struggle to pen and kill reliably and even they do alright if not uptiered

Can we all take a moment to appreciate Sweden's work on making the amazing 3.7cm gun with that amazing APFDS or Sabot rounds? I love it, you can kill T-34 and M4 Sherman's from 1km in this tank from 1.0BR also the velocity 👌

The 3,7 cm slpprj m/49 can penetrate T-34 and M4 because it's in fact a post war round (1949 as it's name says) so it's designed to do so. And yes, post war APDS. At 1.0.

@@jonathanallen3688 bullshit. As the name suggests, the 20mm Pzgr 40 was designed and built in 1940. Also, towards the end of the war in 1944, German tungsten stocks were running out and, being the tungsten the key component of the Pzgr 40, they began to use steel in its place with a much lower penetration power. So it can't possibly be a late war bullet. Also at 1.0 48mm of penetration are nothing special, considering that the Japanese and Italians also have 48mm of penetration on their 20mm guns, while the British and Swedes have 42mm.

Balanced view;)

The insane penetration values aren't as unbalanced as they might seem due to the simple fact that.. well, it's BR 1.0, what's the point of 100mm of pen when the heaviest armour you're likely to run into is less than half of that? APHE ends up being more effective against most targets because it's more likely to do critical or fatal damage and can penetrate most things you run into just fine. And the APDS has great range... if RNG favours you. No fin-stabilizing on these boys, so it's a bit like sniping with a musket. Not to say Swedish tank tree isn't terrific, because it is, except for a few spots higher up in the BR that lacks a full lineup. My favorite tree alongside Italian Derp and French s t r o n k.

The thing is you can easily snipe and pen people from any range at low br while they have to get better at aiming, and it's not about one-shoting, but to disable the opponent. If you angle theres alway a chance to bounce low tier APHE while with APDS it's a different story. French has pretty good armour at that br, you can bounce a lot with them, but not APDS rounds.

Apds is extremely accurate at range. Meaning ppl that say started in the big three then come to Sweden get a round that can reliably and easily hit targets farther than actual newbies will be able to. Not to mention most tanks at this br are cramped as hell and APDS is generally a one tap anyway.

That was a lot of fun to watch. Maybe someday the Snail will actually give us better looking recoilless rifle back blast. It just looks so anemic currently. Way back in the early ‘80s I watched a crew of (I assume) US Forest Rangers using a 106mm to break up some deep snow above a highway in Colorado. The back blast seemed more violent than that from the muzzle. Maybe have the guy who’s time is wasted animating canopies (that should be frigging closed before a jet even starts down the damn runway) spend a week tweaking the effect?

Those Swedish vehicles actually have a meta that I like to use.. always engage in reverse,treat it like the IS series of heavy tanks, but instead of angling just take the shells, they’re I’ll keep shooting your engine & you can take them out in the meantime

yea i was playing 8.7 and i was caping and holding a good spot but a teammate pushed me out the way to use that spot, i was a t54 thx to uptier so my engine was weak and died cause i was stuck and couldnt move, obviously i bombed that teammate after but it’s annoying how some people are like that at higher BRs as well
