Wrong!!!! You can disagree with me but Nor the skills neither the scope of field matters .. what matter is the passion for something .. if you are passionate about something you will find out ways to be good in it. Biggest challenge is to find out the interests of students and guide them to achieve their goals .have you ever wondered why our engineers are jobless? Because they never choosed their degree by passion and once the trend changes they end up in joblessness . If someone is actually passionate about some profession this doesnt mean he will top in entry exam for the universty but once he has enough knowlege he will acquire skills and will never be jobless . Most probably he will create jobs . But such students mostly are filtered out by entry exams and trend followers get their place .sadly our society trends and education system made us sheeps.

I agree with you 100% regarding DPT. If anyone is reading my comment kindly refrain from getting admission in it or try to get into some other subject as there are NO JOBS in this field. And a few jobs that are there for those you will need reference. In public sector hospitals vacancies for physiotherapists are announced after years.secondaly there is no council due to which you can find a physiotherapy college in every nook and corner of the country this further decreases it's value.almost 90% of internships are unpaid.

Dear All, Whatever career counsellor is saying is right to some extent but what I believe is that hardwork in any field is the basic key to success! every field has its own scope whether you are naturally fit-in or not still there is a roam to polish your skills and also you can have a chance of diversified portfolio e.g. if you are an Engineer you can have a job in Bank or other financial institution also depending on the kind of skills and subject like management sciences and engineering economics you may have gone through, every country has its own cultural boundaries and within limits we had to operate with, don't blame on field scope but rather try to develop your skills which change its course from time to time and last but not the least learning is a continuous process so as it is rightly said: first learn and than earn. Don't limit yourself to a certain degree learning should continue throughout lifetime.

I am agreed you said about psychology, As A student of bs psychology I can say If you are not go through, OCD, Anxiety, Depression, Derealization etc in your life and hadnt seen it very close then dont chose because you wouldnt find out or diagnose the things in the next person,

Sir, when I get depressed I take copy and pencil, my mind is thinking something but my hands are drawing particularly flowers designs, And after some time when I notice what I have done on my copy it change into a some kind of unique designs of flowers but I draw these designs unconsciously because that I am depressed, and thinking about another matter.

Says Business and IT are outdated fields, proceeds to run a business on an IT platform. Great job!

He is really telling truth about dpt because there are so many private institutes offering dpt but with high fees, Number of students are increasing but in job market it's not sure you'll get a good job. But still in the end your interest and passion matters..

we need this kind of people,s consultancy before selecting a major at BS level.....whatever he said is true but i think in pakistan the competition is tough enough that even you cant choose your interest but the merit chooses your major ...in our class of BS botany almost 40 out 0f 44 students were those who never wanted to do Bs in botany but because we did not select by any other department due to high merits thats why we are here.....it shouldn,t be like this😞 because its all about your whole career your life will depend on this....anyways its like zabardasti ki shadi ko qabool krna🙂

Agree with your first point but in second point I would say that no one is forced to enter any specific field. Ab ye to nhi ho sakta har bande ko mbbs karna hai to har saal 70k doctor produce ho rahe hain. If you dont fall in merit list of mbbs, try fnding other courses like bs computer science bba from iba lums bahria fast or take acca and many other fields.

Dear Students Ignore what uncle is saying. Choose the discipline according to your aptitude and your interest in that area. If you study what you are passionate about you will do wonders. Good luck.

FBR, NAB, Banks, Multinational Companies, Government and Private Companies have to keep the record of cash inflow and outflow. So, sir do not misguide the students. Doing Engineering and Physical Therapist is not valuable right now according to need of the country.

Now if student rely just on teachers ,and teachers aren't updated then student is going to face a lot of difficulties after passing out.World is changing very fastly, and so are the requirements of work. I was graduated from one of the Pakistan's top universities so I know what I faced later.

Don't know much about others but BS Acc & Fin is one of very few degrees that is getting much attention of job market in the field of Accounts, Audit, Finance and Banking. Couldn't see any plausible reason of its lesser value

Currently there are two types of cryptography domains viz Quantum cryptography and classical cryptography. Classical Cryptography becomes worth learning if you can use it as Blockchain developing. Blockchain developing is a booming domain these days but also being adept at programming is mandatory for block chain developing which make it suitable for computer science majors' and difficult for Mathematics majors' to master it. I'll recommend you this domain of cryptography if you feel yourself compatible for programming and some computer science else learning cryptography just for theoretical and getting a degree purposes is not recommended at all.
