It's a blessing in disguise. The commitment and soul-draining amount of your life you need to put in t the game to be pro level isn't worth it, unless you're like 14. It's so much better being able to actually have fun and not treat it like a job.

I got chills watching that Diamond get a goal. Wow, incredible video Sunless.

They do this for certain strong man competitions, especially the casual competitions. They have who I think is their cameraman, and call him "the every man" and let him go first to show exactly what you're describing! It's honestly very helpful and makes their feats of strength even more impressive after seeing a regular dude give it a go

That diamond boosted through his shot with power and precision, something I struggle with at GC. Great work there. I cannot imagine the joy I'd have getting to do this, I'd be telling my friends for ages that one time I demod Vatira or blocked Rise's shot. As if I would but still!

the pros talking made this video ten times better.

This was really fun. I love the substitutions idea too! The diamond's player score would have been much worse if the score actually tracked / subtracted goals or chances conceded. I really liked how Sunless and Gregan touched on this later in some sense. They talked about score vs. affect on the game with chances created and defending (neither also score tracked) to cause a player to give up the ball.

Must be an honour to play with the pros, it would prob be one of the best gaming moments of my life

Nice to see some insightful commentary. The talk at the end about challenging is so far lost on randoms that I lost interest in playing because of it. My impact in the game was more difficult to see because I was admitidly a terrible shot, but I knew how to keep insane pressure. Played since release, grinded the game a bunch and peaked about diamond 3. I knew my mechanics were not at the level of other diamond players, so it just felt really unsatisfying to get shit on by my own team for not being good in the way they want.

Damn, its REALLY nice having a professional caster with you commentating...having this deep inside on game style and tactic is amazing, please keep that going

Damn.. if only there was room for a silver in this too. Very cool vid. Often wondered about these scenarios. LE: Forgot to mention this ... but how cool is it that so many RL pros are down to spending time doing these types of matches and contributing to the community content. You don't see this in most games.

They should add international goal explosions such as flags. They’ve already got antennas so goal explosions and perhaps decals could really create a whole set.

Like America would probably have red, white and blue fireworks and all the American sports balls behind the flag. Stupid UK would have crumpets or whatever behind their flag lol. Sunless you should make a video showing the difference in low ranks and high ranks on extra modes like rumble and snow day. It would be interesting and cool to see the skill difference.

Video idea: Put 6 pros in one 3v3 match and have them in disguise. Here's the twist: They all think that the other 5 players are diamonds, and that they are the undercover pro and they have to guess which person the pro is.

It's so fun to see the quality of sunless' videos nowadays, I've watched sunless for many years and his video quality has always been good but this is some of the best video quality on youtube deadass

This was much more entertaining than expected

You probably won't see this Sunless, but your video over Moist (Team Queso) at the Winter Major was so well done. Before that video I didn't follow RLCS all that much, but I wanted to start watching this team. I was ecstatic to discover that the Queso roster was now under Moist Esports, and I have watched them in everything since. And of course, yesterday they won in London! These guys will be trouble for the rest of the world for a while!

As a Silver-ish (I have 21 hours of game time) playing with people in diamond+, what the gold should have done is try and incapacitate their opponents. Steal boosts, demolition them etc. Much more helpful this way than trying to touch the ball 😂
