Most of these devices actually have a line in the manual that says something like: Not to be used for medical purpose or Do not do your own colonoscopies at home with the device. But if you do, make sure the wrist strap is firmly attached and you have your BooFang ready to call in some help.

One of my favorite product reviews. Does it hurt?

Mechanics use them to look into the cylinder Bore in an engine as they look for scratches and scoring on the inside of the cylinder walls. It's done by simply removing the spark plugs and inserting the little camera and there is usually a little angled mirror attachment for seeing on a 90-degree angle. It is also a very handy tool for looking in walls at pipes and wiring.

The good thing about using an endoscope on cylinder bores is if there isn’t a scratch on the wall there will be when you take the endoscope out

It's not an add-on in this case. It's a strap-on.

i got a boroscope for my sister a few weeks ago, 16ft, but I paid like 140 bucks. however, the actual scope, all 16.5 ft of it was metal, can also buy a 50ft extension cable would be great for scoping sewer lines.. but for 57 bucks for this one, not too bad.

I have a cheap $20 one that connects to android or iphones via wifi, but its depth of field is too narrow. It only puts things in focus that are very close to it; like way too close. Everything outside of an inch or two is too blurry. I don't like it. This seems much better.

The thing im wondering is if you buy the one where you use your own phone or tablet you should be able to zoom in on what you are looking at, Im not sure if you can pinch and zoom the fixed screen's

It would be a bit tight and if that tube had any kind of twisting grooves, the camera might get stuck.

This is illegal to use without the proper FCC licensing.
