God I miss discovering Death Note for the first time. I remember reading the scanlations and watching the anime on shitty streaming sites due to having little options. Anime wasn't simply big during those days. (I was like what 14-15 and now almost 30) Hell, I had no idea Death Note would become insanely popular. From the bottom of my heart... +Ava Angelettie I read some facts about Death Note and found out that: 1. Near has higher intelligence than L, 2.Near was giving information to Mello so he could find who Mikami is. 3. When Death Note fell for Near's hands, he used to it to write Mikami's name on it so he (Mikami) wouldn't check if his (Mikami's) Death Note is real at the end, basically manipulated Mikami to prove that Light is Kira.

+funnygames93 The author has stated that L was smarter than Near, Light, or anyone else in the series because "the plot demanded it". The information which says that Near was more intelligent than L is out of date. Also, Near should never have been able to win with the amount of information he had. I mean, L did his fair share of unfounded speculating, but Near was just flat-out clairvoyant. The way he figured out that Mikami was acting as Light's co-kira for instance was beyond ridiculous.

+Ava Angelettie yea i definitely hate near but still light would have been defeated because since L's death light's been to confident he thinks he can beat anyone just because he just defeated L the greatest detective on earth and that thought what lead him to make mistakes right here and there and ultimately lead to his down fall. For example when Near suspected him of being kira and light called the president of the US to eliminate the SPK, light should have waited for at least 3 or 4 days so that it would seem less suspicious and another one was when he killed the director of the police or something, that kidnapping of the director was not yet been anounced into public and the only person or group that knows it are the SPK and light and his accomplices, light shouldnt have killed the director because Near would get suspicious because he knows that only the SPK and Light's team only knew this information and so taht will help Near narrow down his list of suspects

Is it honestly possible? but why respect? to all the work that Light (ie Kira) did, but the theme is very beautiful.

Light Yagami, weather you love or hate him. He is a character who will never be forgotten for sure. I like and found him to be very fascinating. Personally I love this ost. It represents Light's twisted sense of justice on how he's a God who is going to make his new world. Still I feel like their is a dark undertone to this ost. That shows how Light will do whatever is nesseray and use whoever he must to achieve his goal. How he acts as a divine God passing righteous judgement on thoes he deems evil in his eyes. Light Yagami/ Kira, was a truly twisted God indeed...

true story. this was playing in the background while I was doing my homework when my english teacher was checking everyone's works by recitation and I just happen to be the next right after I finished writing the answer to the question I was assigned to. felt pretty epic.

Imagine being the only hardcore death note fan in your friends and talking about it to them for hours even though they doesn't care. Then, suddenly one of your friends tells you that they have watched death note and it wasn't good, it was trash. The movie was a complete waste of money and time. You're like *What movie?* And then you remember about the Netflix disaster and your friend has an active Netflix subscription.
