I absolutely love your work! I have a cheap 47 inch light modifier with a speed light. Would that light setup work? Or do I need a different size modifier?

Oh wow…that’s what I call an intro!! :) yes, thanks to your videos, I now started also with self portraits and got the same equipment as you (regarding the lighting). Well, it‘s difficult. Gotta practice quite a lot : )

I am starting today using my Sony A6000 very basic lense, I cannot afford any others now, but soon hopefully🙂. You simplify this process for all of us. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Lots of content here. The suggestion to use Pinterest for makeup ideas was good, especially for folks who know nothing about makeup. The shots where you took a pose I would call “fierce” were striking. Might not prevent a mugging, but would give rise to second thoughts! If I may, I did not care for the lower and upper lip marks. Yes, they certainly attracted and held my attention, but it did not enhance your attractiveness, which is considerable. Just an old conservative guy I guess. The plastic bag worked well too. Thank you!

Hi Pat! It all depends. I shoot different ideas and moods depending on how I feel that day. Sometimes I can take self-portraits that represents strength and sometimes the very opposite. I like to shoot matching how I feel that day and develop ideas. 😊 So happy to know that you enjoyed the bag trick! So simple and I think the effect is super cool. 😍 Big hug! 🥰📸

It's way easier to make beautifull self portraits when you'r beautifull. But when you'r an ugly old man (like me); that's a challenge! :-)
