@@colbysutherland6574 I always thought Bart was very people smart. He was charismatic and understood others better than Lisa. Lisa was more disciplined, studious and intellectually curious while being insecure and less people savvy.

@@TheSpy149 That reminds me of the episode where Homer blurts out that he was hanging out with Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, when he had the still keep his mouth shut about them after they were laughing at him in the bar, since they were so enamored one of them running into Kent Brockman at the store, that would have been a perfect for Homer to say he ran into Rainier Wolfcastle at a gym one time, and it would have been consistent since that episode came out months before the one where he was with Alec and Kim, and they would have enjoyed hearing about that as well.

Bart is not stupid, his creative pranks are proof of that.

People forget that Barts not dumb, they had an entire episode in which he was diagnosed with ADHD, and eventually agreed to take meds. However, the meds had severe side effects, so he's no longer on them.

Thomas Edison did NOT invent the lightbulb... He invented a design of lightbulbs that became the most commonly available at one point... His company, General Electric, had many great minds working on great products and even inventions but the man was obsessed with fame and profit and was very good marketing himself, he would take credit for anything created by his company but even then his company did not create the first lightbulb. If he didn't got so scared of the side effects of radiation we would probably claim the man invented X rays instead of acknowledging Röntgen discovered them. On the same line but completely unrelated to the episode. Henry Ford did not invent cars, cars are a German invention. What's attributed to Ford is the "production line" he used in his factory and even that could be contested

I stand corrected, even though Edison backed out of all his experiments with X-rays apparently we still think he invented the fluoroscope... HE DID NOT... his company copied Röntgen's design and bettered it but the fluoroscope already existed before Edison jumped into the X-rays bandwagon. Röntgen fluoroscope used barium platinocyanide Edison's used calcium tungstate which achieved a better image and is still the material we commonly use today to produce diagnostic imaging with X-rays but the floroscope already existed before that change. At least we don't give him credit for x-rays in general just for the fluoroscope WHICH HE DID NOT INVENT but I wrote the first comment before knowing the show would claim he did (tbf the idea of Edison inventing the fluoroscope is so common that if you google who invented the fluoroscope all results will point towards Edison (even though many articles compare Edison's to Röntgen's previous version)
