Great job. It's apparentl you took quite a bit of time and put some thought into this. Direct, simple, informative, non-biased review without a lot of unnecessary extras (like a fancy time wasting intro nobody cares about, or a lot of unneeded backstory about where and why you bought it, how long you've been flying drones etc.). I do cinematography using DJI products. I'd never use this in the field but this would be good for recon in a tactical sense. Cheap drone, so if its destroyed during a recon flight you're not losing a thousand dollars.

Let me ask you as a newbie on drone subject, but these FimiX8 and E520S has some sensor to avoid crashing while flying, so do not crash on trees, rocks, floor and so on or you must be an excellent "pilot"? I broke off the antennas. Controller is less cumbersome without them. Found them in the washing machine. Drone flies well.

It does not have the quality of real 4K, it is like 1080p.

J faber Because the optics are crap. Just because it’s 4K doesn’t mean that it’s optically high performance. It’s just set the image sensor can capture in that resolution. You can have great eyes, but if you put scratched up foggy glasses in front of them, sure doesn’t help much does it?

I guess u can use there FPV as well. It has a receiver it has buttons or have auto search option as well. Through which you can select the channel on which the video is being transmitted by drone.. You can search for FPV how they are setup, what are there channels. Well I am very late, u would have already reached a conclusion by now.

I LAST CHECKED on Bangood they were selling one at $100 and the other at I guess very less price. But this drone doesn't seem to have 4k, even if an expensive goggle is used it wont make much difference. I wonder if there is some alternative like if this drone connects with your cell phone through its internal wifi in that case a simple VR box would be enough for the video on mobile app. Have a nice day.

You are connecting to Drone Wifi Signal, so you can use it whereever you want.

You dont need data to use your drone its data free just use your phones wifi signal to transmit to and from the drone

that's a good drone tbh, of course the camera isn't the best but compared to a drone I got this is better. investing into dji however is way better

Yes, pro version has remote camera to up and down. Also fps became 25 from 20.

It uses the phone wifi connection I used it on samsung galaxy 7 and iphone 7 (no idea about on other phones as i did not use. Probably, it would.) Yes

Nope :) Everything was fine.

How long do the motors on these last and are replacement motors cheap and easy to fit. I got the hubsan h502 and the motors die after about 10 flights

Ads for these pop up and disappear with different names. drone x pro , eachine, drone pro etc. advertise gps and higher end camera but when it comes in its 720 camera and if it’s gps I don’t know how because it’s all over the place in slight winds. When you call they say you have to request the 4k camera. Also camera doesn’t move unless you land and manually move camera up or down .

I bought a year ago the fimi A3 for 230€ on gearbest. This is the best drone i ever had. Only minus is no folding arms. It is very dependable, no gadgets and securities like on dji, 1.5 km range in real life at least. Fast, lightweight, good battery life. Too bad it is not sold anymore

This drone comes with GPS and believe me if you are a beginner you badly want that GPS option. When i first start this hobby, i destroyed 2 drones as they did not have GPS and Altitude Hold :)
