#Loverboy #TurnMeLoose
Lyrics
I was born to run
I was born to dream
The craziest boy you ever seen
I gotta do it my way
Or no way at all
And I was here to please
I'm even on knees
Making love to whoever I please
I gotta do it my way
Or no way at all
And then you came around
Tried to tie me down
I was such a clown
You had to have it your way
Or no way at all
Well
I've had all I can take
I can't take it no more
I'm gonna pack my bags and fly
My way or no way at all
So, why don't you turn me loose?
Turn me loose
Turn me loose
I gotta do it my way
Or no way at all
Why don't you turn me loose?
Turn me loose
Turn me loose
I gotta do it my way
I wanna fly
I'm here to please
I'm even on my knees
Making love to whoever I please
I gotta do it my way
I gotta do it my way
And when you came around
You tried to tie me down
I was such a clown
You had to have it your way
Well
I'm saying no way
So, why don't you turn me loose?
Turn me loose
Turn me loose
I gotta do it my way
Or no way at all
Why don't you turn me loose?
Turn me loose
Turn me loose
I gotta do it my way
I wanna fly
Ooh, yeah
So, why don`t you turn me loose?
Turn me loose
Turn me loose
I gotta do it my way
Or no way at all
Why don't you turn me loose?
Turn me loose
Turn me loose
I gotta do it my way
I gotta do it my way
Why don't you turn me loose?
Turn me loose
Turn me loose
I gotta do it my way
I wanna fly
Turn me loose
Turn me loose
Turn me loose
Turn me loose
Turn me loose
Turn me loose
Turn me loose

I'm 60 and hopelessly lost in 80s rock. Every song transports me to a much much better time and place. These last two generations will never know what an epic genre this truly was. It can never be repeated.

The two best three person bands in the history of rock and roll! And both from Canada. And all thanks to Joe Anthony "The Godfather of rock and roll" Love Loverboy also. Absolutely the best lead rock vocal single of the 80’s. He’s at the top of his range through the entire song! And that “fly bye bye” man what a lead vocalist! The whole band kicked it out and made some great hits! This and “working for the weekend” timeless classics well written, great guitar licks and hot vocals. Anyone seen them currently? He’s heavier but still got it!
