I'm 60 and hopelessly lost in 80s rock. Every song transports me to a much much better time and place. These last two generations will never know what an epic genre this truly was. It can never be repeated.

No doubt Rush is the best Canadian band ever! Nobody compares to the lyrics that Neil Pert brought to us! Not even in the US!!! And Triumph is a solid second! I was like ur friend! If u never got the album Keep it Up you really should. Well at this pt. for nostalgia. but a totally flawless album. I was lucky to get it back in the day for Chrstmas when it came out. I asked for and recieved that along with Pyromania and Synchronicity. Pyromania my fave hard rock album, and keep it up ain't far behind.

New kong movie took me back, we didn't know how good we had it!!!

The thing about 80's music is that it makes everyone feel sexy. EVERYONE. Doesn't matter how you look or behave. That intro is such a killer!

I ‘m so glad I went by myself to see Loverboy when they came to town. They had just hit it big. Decided at the last minute to just go, so couldn’t find anybody else to come along. Left my husband to watch the kids. It was great, got up close enough to the stage for a great view and loved every minute. Quiet Riot opened. Only time I went to a concert alone.

On another note, keep buying a ticket for one. I do this soooo often. I stopped buying a plus one. Everyone always has a reason not to go I would have missed some spectacular artists and performances. Went 2 wks ago to see KC & the Sunshine Band. Best show I've ever seen and I've seen em all. It was a party for all ages, no lip sync at all. Also, buying ONE ticket gets you much closer to the stage.

Late 70's until mid 80's, the albums were produced so well. You can hear the instruments and the talent of the players. Musicians and top shelf producers just made some magic during that era. It's why we always go back to them so often. They SOUND good.

Absolutely the best lead rock vocal single of the 80’s. He’s at the top of his range through the entire song! And that “fly bye bye” man what a lead vocalist! The whole band kicked it out and made some great hits! This and “working for the weekend” timeless classics well written, great guitar licks and hot vocals. Anyone seen them currently? He’s heavier but still got it!

Born in 70, grew up in California and entertainment was the best. Music and coming of age movies. More great music in Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Weird Science, Pretty In Pink and off the path, Rush and Less Than Zero. Awesome!!!!!

I worked 2nd shift back in the 1980's. At a place called Regency Electronics. We had a plant wide intercom system. We would turn the radio station up really loud & jam to this song at night. I'm 62 now, bu5 there 2as a timewhen I was a young free spirit. The music was great & so was the women. What a time it was. Enjoy my friends. Youth is fleeting. Best wishes to you all.
