Here's a pro pomegranate tip I learned from a coworker some years ago. Cut it into quarters, then separate the arils while submerged in a big bowl of water. They come apart real easily, don't squirt red juice on you, and most of the white stuff floats to the top so you can easily skim it off. Then dump into a strainer. No more pomegranate hell! Oh, and chill song. 👍
