This has to be the first series I've ever seen where I related to the main character so much. As an introvert, it doesn't feel like we're necessarily realistically represented as much in media because we don't make really "loud and proud, and BOLD" characters (like most protagonist extroverts are portrayed in media). I like how Gene is awkward, sleepy, emotionally tired, and doesn't like the spotlight, unlike the cutesy "shy" * insert puppy dog eyes and thick glasses * bl stereotype.

A compliment depends on the one who delivers it. Tum said to Gene that he is more handsome and cuter, but Gene reacted differently as Nubsib said it.

Gene reminds me of me Shy and introverted a bit awkward and quiet around people i dont know. You can already see that Sib wheels in his head are turning; The moment he saw Gene he wanted to get closer and talk to him. His eyes linger the way his eyes stare insensibly at Gene he like him that part is clear but there is something more to that, based on body language and facial expressions not to mention the tone in his voice and how he smiles whenever looking or thinking about Gene.

8:54 This piece is a bit unexpected. When Gene and Tum discuss "the boy", it sounds like Nubsib is younger. This makes sense because they both graduated 10 years ago from the university which means that they are at least 32-33 yo while Nubsib is 20. But from now on I'll need to remind myself all the time that Nubsib is 10+ years younger(!) than Gene when my eyes tell me otherwise.
