High school dramas usually have a low budget and the plot sounds cliche like idol-fan, high school drama, and time-travel. They don't even have a sponsor for the necklace unlike other kdramas. I really love the narrative and the way it was directed. Every episode is not dragging and has a good cliff-hanger. It reminds me of the old kdramas that I used to love and enjoy. Lovely Runner pulled me out of my kdrama slump. I'm glad that they cast Wooseok and Hye Yoon because their acting is so convincing, not stiff, and natural in sad, romantic, and comedy scenes. You can feel that they're giving it all. As for the chemistry, my oh my. it's off the charts on and off cam plus the OST sang by BWS!!!

A 40 year old mom here of an 18 year old young lady, this has been a family bonding, including my husband who is never a k drama fan, at all. But he got hooked on this. We all smiled and cried and giggle all together. The show encapsulated a lot of emtions that transcends ages and time. It is something that really poked my emotions.

I love how lovely runner made my Apr & May 2024 crazy. I've been in kdrama slump for years but Lovely Runner breaks it. I'm super happy I watched it while it was ongoing cause the excitement of waiting next episodes made me look forward more to Mondays and Tuesdays. Plus yung unending theories of the viewers made it even more crazier. Lovely Runner is my top 1 Kdrama now. Love how Wooseok and Hyeyoon portrayed their characters it feels so real. I'm so in love with them 😍😍😍. I will never regret na nagmukha akong baliw iyak tawa while watching Lovely Runner

pov: aside from the story itself apakaganda ng cinematography transition and all from past to present and such plus their chemistry off and onscreen was really giving why sunjae/byeonwooseok was super hype bec of his versatility as an actor from highschool sunjae to 30+ sunjae was a top notch and to add ImSol's character it's like super relate every fangirl..

1. what miss kring said is true, the first 2 episodes really got the kpop fans' attraction because of the idol-fan trope and the fact that byeon wooseok sang 5 osts for it added to the reasons why they loved it because it's kinda rare for actors to sing the osts themselves and he really have a good voice, the songs were so good hence why it did well sa charts both in korea and internationally 2. the plot is plotting talaga, i think every lovely runner fam would agree that the "plot twist" in ep. 2 ending was what hooked them up and made them continue watching the drama, this time travel thing in lovrun is also not the common time travel thing, sol is restricted to say something that happens to the future thus in order for her to change something, she can only rely solely in her efforts 3. we got almost all the tropes in kdrama that you can imagine haha, from idol-fan, highschool lovers, college sweethearts, idol-producer, and actor-producer 4. the actors not just the leads made the drama fun, even the actor who played as the psycho killer who almost did not even had a dialogue got us hating his character to the bones hahaha, the casts did a really great job which made lovrun a real rom-com drama 5. and last but not the least, yung chemistry between khy and bws of course, the two just seem natural talaga to the point that they got knetz hoping for them to date in real life which is rare 😂

First of all, as a fan, LR was able to portray how fans are indirectly comforted by the KPop artists they stan. Plus, Hye Yoon is my fave actress. The chemistry, the story, the details, everything was just so right.

The plot is indeed plotting!! Aside from an amazing story its the actors chemistry that made this series a must watch.

The reason kaya sya naghit dahil super duper grabe as in grabe yung chemistry ni KHY & BWS on & off cam. Kaya nacaptured ng fans ng LR ang puso ng mga kababaihan hindi lang ng mga teens kundi mga nasa 40’s & up ang age lalo na sa ibang bansa. Now I understand sa sinabi na ung role ni Im Sol ay para lang kay KHY dahil walang ibang actress na babagay talaga sa role nya. Talagang tinadhana ang pagtatambal ni KHY & BWS as Ryu Sunjae & Im Sol dahil nabigyan nila ng justice ung role nilang dalawa. Hats off to both BWS & KHY for giving us one of the best kdrama that makes me fall in love while watching both of them. Because of Lovely Runner I experienced how to fall in love & experienced that super duper kilig moment on & off camera even if never pa akong nainlove sa totoong buhay sa mga palabas lang talaga ako kinikilig hehe…

tbh i first thought of involving idols too when they did the promo to make it relatable but i agree with the cliffhanger as the last scene i also think, the pace wasn’t too dragged, the direction was executed well (after the change of director) and then… the chemistry. i feel like if they look platonic or the casting was off, it wouldn’t be as much as a hit as it is right now. another thing is the OSTs, it sounds like it could stand the test of time like “The Man” from Secret Garden, “Paradise” from Boys Over Flowers, and “Still” from You’re Beautiful… their ost sounds like the 2024 ver of these songs. (grabe po I can’t believe I lived through the 2nd gen era😭)

Lovely Runner is such as light yet very relaxing to watch with the combination of the drama itself but also the main character of Im Sol and Sun Jae makes the drama hits.. aside from it Byeonwoo seok in this drama really shine since I watch hos previous drama which not make him stand up. So I can say this drama really worth to watch and I sure viewers will really enjoy.

Agree. So Lovely Runner popularity is not only because there is byeon woo seok there, but it is about all aspects of the Lovely Runner drama has!. I also jump to one of byeon woo seok previous drama cause I am curious, but I only watched one episode and stop because I feel the drama not interesting enough for me.

What I like about this kdrama is that there is no toxic character/s aside sa taxi driver. All of the characters are so funny and lovable. And I'm happy that the writer did not make the second lead (Kim Taesung) a pitiful character. I agree with you Ms. Kring, first episode pa lang ma-hohook ka na and Sunjae and Im Sol really did sooo well. I'm so happy that Im Sol found her "PALAGI" in Sunjae's. (Palaging tatakbo for Im Sol just to save/help her.)

Omg, so happy someone is able to tell how we feel! Iba kasi yung feeling talaga from Lovely Runner, you cant predict, plus all the cast did well. Though people say weak yung casting they were able to portray overwhelming emotions kaya grabe yung impact 😭😭 tapos they bring us back to highschool and adulthood, since malapit yung timeline from teens to adults para cyang eras tour na kdrama hahaha 🥰🥰

After watching QoT, i immediately watch Lovely Runner since gusto ko na talaga si Byeon Wooseok and Kim Hyeyoon before pa. I got hooked immediately kasi for me comfort drama ko siya. Yung mga kissing scenes nila hindi ka maiilang or mahihiya. Sobrang kilig na eto lang ang kissing scene na pinaulit ulit ko. You will want more iisipin mong may relasyon talaga sila. 2 times ko na pinanood ang buong drama at di pa din ako makaget over. Im 55 yrs old

I've always loved K-dramas, but I've never been this obsessed with one before. The story is perfect, and all the actors are amazing. I'm so emotionally attached to this drama that I can't watch any other K-dramas right now, they just don't measure up. This drama has really captured my heart. The plot is exciting and keeps me hooked with every episode. The characters feel real, and I care about what happens to them. The main actors have great chemistry, and even the supporting cast is fantastic, making the whole show feel real and immersive. The production quality is incredible too. The visuals are stunning, the music is unforgettable, and every detail is carefully thought out. All of this combines to create a viewing experience that's both powerful and satisfying. In short, this K-drama has set a new standard for me, making it hard to enjoy other shows as much.

For mee it became a big hit because of how they portrayed their characters while also being on different timelines didn’t confused us viewers on whether this was the past or future as their attention to details and their different personalities during each timeline was an important factor that created the characters’ lives, and also the way they treated and lived their characters in a way that us audience was able to see and understand how being a genuine fan loves their idol and the fact that Sunjae was actually the one that loved Sol first and intentionally called her to somehow give her a motivation to stay alive for one day and one more each day which actually became Im Sol’s motivation to get through her everyday life and to the hardships she went through which I think is why she was able to be positive, and the fact that Byeon Woo Seok was the one to sing the osts really captured hearts but if you sum it up it is because the plot is PLOTTINGGG and no one can convince me otherwise ☔️⭐️💙✨

It's not a typical present and past timeline genre. Grabe ang storyline, ang plot! Plus the connection ng story and characters sa viewers. Huhuhu Lovely Runner hits differently! Sa dami kong napuntahang fanmeet, kay BWS lang ako nagprepare ng small gifts to fans, mag titeam airport and labas kasi di nakasecure ng ticket. But I'll do the same to Hye Yoon, sana magka fanmeet din siyaaaa!! ❤

trueee, plot is plotting talagaaaaaaaa!!!!!!! plus alam nyo ung 2016- 2018 vibes ng korean drama, parang nabalik ung ganong feelinggggg, the actors/actresses were great, the chemistry, the plot, and many to mentionnnn, kaya to nag hit eh. Tsaka relate tayong lahat na fannnnnnn

From all the stress we encounter everyday, it is a good thing to have something that makes you kilig and happy 😍

Im done watching the Lovely Runner and all I can say is that they deserve the hype. The story is very interesting since Im Sol has the power to go back to past to save Sun Jae. Kumbaga ang Im Sol na naparalyzed because of an accident na naging fan ng isang Kpop band to make her feel motivated but how about the kpop idol who cannot save themselves. The sacrificial love, Im Sol didn't waste any moment to save Sun Jae and they deserve a happy ending after those all stressful moments na need masolusyunan ni Im Sol. When Im Sol's grandma said "Memories don't disappear", I cried, that sentence hit me so much.

only those kpop fans/kdrama fans knows the feeling. the feeling of being left by an idol, that despite they save you in times of need and no one understand you except them, you're not able to save them when they need you 🥹 this drama brings lots of emotions.

It is very exciting! All the scenes were not boring and especially the main character's chemistry is the best!!! SUPER GANDA...SOLJAE!!!

My thoughts why this kdrama was a hit: 1. Im Sol is so relatable! As a fangirl, kuhang kuha nya yung emosyon ko! Love her! Plus, KHY really did a great job in portraying the character. Nadala nya si BWS IMHO. 2. Bukod sa plot is plotting, the chemistry is chemistrying!!!! As in!! Gumulong na lang ako sa kama sa sobrang kilig!!! Palanuod ako now ng mga clips nila BTS, talagang on and off cam, the chemistry is a top notch. 3. Lovely Runner OST SUPREMACY!!! As in walang tapon, fav ko lahat! Plus!! ECLIPSE!!! Omygash Eclipse! If di kayo magdedebut, at least have one special concert na pwede namin iwatch kahit online!! Sobrang sucker ako ng live performances! Naalala ko sa kanila yung ANJELL ng You're Beautiful ❤ 4. Even the side characters were delightful to watch! Dami kong LOL moments kay Omma and Appa 😂 5. Definitely one of the most satisfying endings of a Kdrama. Yung hindi ka bitin kasi binigay na nila lahat sa last episode! Unlike other dramas na mapapa "yun na yun? " ka na lang Ryu Sunjae!!! Miss na kita huhu. Sana bumalik ka agad sa Pinas after June 22 , yung makakasecure na ako ng ticket huhu walang Day 2 😢 iyak malala

Kaya gusto ko yung Lovely Runner kasi lakas ng chemistry at para saken din is aral din sya bakit kasi para masabi mo sa taong mahal mo ano talaga totoo mo nararamdaman sa isang tao habang may oras at panahon para sa huli hindi ka magsisisi tsaka hindi sya boring panuorin kahit paulit-ulit panuorin hindi nakakasawa lakas din makabring back memories sa high school life

If you think about it, the plot is really absurd but it's good absurd! I liked everything about this drama, the plot, the actors, their chemistry, the behind the scenes, the OST, EVERYTHING! It's written well, it's acted well, it has been filmed well, it's edited well.

I started watching kdrama since boys over flowers. I am a kdrama addict. But this is the very first time I had watch a series for like a hundred times already since it was finished. I love how the character Ryu sunjae portray. I know for a fact its only fictional but this is the first time I ever dreamed of meeting someone like him in real life. 😍😍😍

Reason why it is such a big hit is because the story line is relateable plus the actors are very talented. Imagine Byeon Woo Seok can really sing pala. Walang tapon kada episode and the OST is so good! Ive been a kdrama fan for years and this is the first time na nagustuhan ko lahat ng ost ng isa g kdrama.

LR helps me get through tough days. Yung minsan gusto mo huminga, watch ka lang ng short clip ng series. Doing so calmed me a lot these days.

lovely runner got me out of my kdrama slump era. the plot is refreshing, especially to me who didn't watched any time traveling concept before. the fan-idol trope is also relatable because i'm a fangirl too! the 20 first minutes of episode 1 really got me, wherein im sol is in the hospital and crying. that time i realized how kim hyeyoon ate up being im sol. im sol is really destined for her and her only, and i'm glad she accepted the role. may i also add, she's so so so beautiful too! my girlie gave her all throughout the shoot, she deserves all the love fr. byeon wooseok, on the other hand, i believe he was born to do romcom roles. he's so natural in his acting especially those scenes where he's acting loser in love. it really really suits him. i'm also thankful to those actors who rejected the ryu sunjae role, now i can't see anyone portraying sunjae but wooseok. lovely runner is in my top 3 fave kdrama. not only they gave us the fan-idol and time travelling trope, but also highschool and college romance, death trope, amnesia trope, actor x producer, enemies to lovers, "he fell first and fell harder", and of course, the "dating to marry". i believe there's more as I'll be watching it for numerous times haha!

i feel like it has nothing to do with idol/fan detail. Its a well flushed drama that doesn't lag. it goes through 3 different periods teens, college and 30s adult. Its nostalgic, funny, sad and angsty, chemistry of leads is great. Honestly one of the best dramas from start to finish!

Lovely Runner brings 2016 kdrama feels whom most people love. ❤ Me as a fan of Kdrama, i usually like this kind of plot in a kdrama. ❤

Actually because of Kim Hye-yoon pinanood ko ang Lovely Runner, fan na ako ni Kim Hye-yoon simula nung palabas niya na Extraordinary You talagang sinusubaybayan ko siya panoorin. Yung Lovely Runner pinanood ko siya nung tapos na lahat nang episodes tama po lahat nang sinabi niyo po Miss Kring na yung pinaka important sa palabas ay yung first and second episodes sa Lovely Runner dahil nung pag ka panood ko sa 1 & 2 episodes dun na hook na ako sa palabas at tuloy tuloy ko nang pinanood hanggang dulo, dalang dala din nang emosyon ko habang na nonood yung ost songs nila. Binigyan nila nang bagong timpla ung plot nang kwento sa Lovely Runner iba talaga sa mga na panood ko na kdrama kaya siguro andaming na gustuhan yung palabas. Sila Hye-yoon at BWS ipinakita nila kung sino si sunjae at imsol sa Lovely Runner on character talaga sila lahat nang emosyon nang character ibinigay nila kaya andam ding na humaling sa character nung dalawa. at Tama po yung sinabi nang husband niyo po Miss Kring nahirapang maka hanap si hye-yoon nang leading man for 3 years andaming korean actors na nag declined for that role ni sunjae. Tinanggap agad ni BWS yung role pag ka kita niya pa lang sa script lalo nung nalaman niya na si kim hye yoon yung leading lady sa Lovely Runner. Marami talaga silang naging struggles habang nag shooting sila kasi onti lang yung endorsements na nakuha nila, yung mga directors pa iba iba, at higit sa lahat marami ring company na nag declined ipalabas yung Lovely Runner sa Network nila kasi hindi nila gusto yung kwento kasi nga typical lang daw na palabas baka hindi magustuhan ng viewers sa sokor, Pero now na sikat na ang Lovely Runner andaming endorsements at Network Company ang nagsisi na hindi nila kinuha ang Lovely Runner at hindi sila makapaniwala sa kasikatan nung palabas lalo na yung ratings nito every time na ipapalabas yung mga episodes kaya ang Happy ko kasi na recognized na yung palabas at Lalo na yung mga staff, actors, actress na ipinag patuloy nila matapos ishoot ang Lovely Runner. Deserved nila nang maraming awards👏🏻✨💗🫰🏻🫶🏻

I just love how genuinely marupok sunjae is 😅😂 the exceeds my expectations in very scene, wow kudos Lovely Runner! definitely one of the kdramas I'll rewatch when i feel down~

Lovely Runner not only capture the hearts of Kdrama Fans but also the hearts of Kpop Fans.. The story is unpredictable, all the characters are well portrayed, the chemistry between Hye Yoon & Woo Seok were unmatched, OST's nakaka LSS 💛💙

At first i thought it’s an ordinary boy nxt door type kdrama but it’s so challenging to watch because of the twist of the story and time travel scenes. So i just go on through and through until i was laready hooked with this drama esp the team up of sunjae and imsol . #LovelyRunner is so addictive❤️❤️❤️❤️and im so love Byeon Woo Seok to much here.

Sa lahat ng Kdrama na napanood ko na. Iba talaga ang Lovely Runner. Ang ganda ng story! Both characters was portrayed perfectly! Tatawa, Kikiligin at Iiyak sa story na to. kaya ito ang fave Kdrama ko!

Ngayon na lang ako uli nabaliw sa isang kdrama and sa actor! Kasalanan ni Sunjae toh eh! Hahaha I think hit kdrama sya kasi: 1. Relatable for kpop fans especially ako na fan na ako ng kdrama and kpop nung 2009. The way mag fangirl si Im sol sobrang relate! Hahaha spirit animal ko sya 2. Fans are rooting for byeon woo seok na mabuhay at magka happy ending kasi lagi namatay sya sa two projects nya. And he was everywhere!? Sadyang parang im sol lang din tlga kaming fans na di sya napansin before! 3. Syempre yung chemistry nila! The height difference ghad! Sinong aayaw sa 6’2” na green flag plus gwapo!? 4. Lagi kang bitin kasi may cliffhanger! 5. Sobrang na hook din ako sa POV ni Sunjae!! Huhuhu sobrang kilig!! 6. Mga OST! Walang tapon! Tas sya pa kumanta like!? Yes we stan a multitalented king!

Lovely Runner for me is the Best & Epic drama for all time... SolJae forever! Its my Monday & Tuesday Therapy pill! Love love the exploding Chemistry of Hyeyoon & Woo Seok on and off cam and like their BTS are like another drama altogether! Hyeyoon makes me bawl & cry my heart out everytime she cries and Woo Seok makes me fall in love and admire his love for Im Sol in every lifetime. Still cant move on with this drama and Ive rewatched it for 11th times and still goin❤❤❤

Amazing plot. I love how the actors portrayed their roles. Mixed emotions while watching this drama. Lahat ng emotions naramdaman ko sa drama na to. I love the plot twist. Worth to watch!

Woo Seok his so pure. His the man everyone loves.

You know it’s a hit once the actor and actress love their character so much na nag e immersed na talaga sila sa character nila. If the actor can’t move on from their character their fans can’t too. 🫶💖 we love you sunjae and imsol❤️❤️❤️❤️

It's a bighit kasi we can relate as a fan 😍 and yung love at first sight moment ni Ryu Sun Jae talaga yung sobrang nakakakilig mapapasana all ka na lang 😍
