Just M&M showcasing what they're about. This studio performance was LIVE streamed during the pandemic. The guitar technique you mentioned is called sweep picking.

You picked the best recording imo. The mix really picks up everything perfectly, especially with good headphones. The sweeps are so crisp and clean, Midori's harmonics in the second verse by really pop and of course the bass and drum hold everything together seamlessly. This whole session is amazing and well worth watching.

Nice reaction! Pure fire from M&M🥵🔥 Awake Again: Live From Abyss is a jewel. I love the session format. Shame Victor never made a second print... and collectors won't let go of their copies for less than 600-700 dollars nowadays. There are uploads everywhere (even on YT), and I'd be lying if I say I didn't watch them🙂‍↕️But I've always wanted the real thing as a way to support the band and to enjoy it without feeling guilty... missed opportunity for the recording company.😮‍💨

As great as this version is, I still prefer the live in concert version myself. Take a look at it in your own good time. Well worth it. I still class it as my favorite video from these women. This 'Live From The Abyss' show has some fantastic versions of some of their best songs. If you were to react to more of them, the Wolf Pack will be most grateful. One of the best is a cover of Helloween's 'Eagle Fly Free'. The beauty of it is that you can also react to Miyako's solo piano arrangement of the same song in the same reaction. Musical bliss.

WHAT A SAD END TO THIS LOVEBITES song called Journey To The Other side kzread.info/dash/bejne/ia51o7Zwpsqxl5s.html With backing vocals and the quiet Miyako getting into it ALSO copied from another post This was the first time Lovebites played this venue, Miho's father used to take her there for concerts and he was supposed to be there for this but passed a few months before it took place. What a true professional Miho is that she could play through that song while being so visibly hurting. Asami was emotional as well.
