Lovebites make me feel bad for all the male metal of this era.

As suggested by some the three 'E' songs (Epilogue, Edge of the World, Empty Daydream), Frozen Serenade, and Swan Song (with the Chopin intro) are the ones that give you a chance to catch your breath.

A great song to hear Asami's voice is Edge Of The World live at Depp Divercity Tokyo. It starts slow and builds as the song proceeds. It is a masterpiece. I thoroughly enjoy your reactions. As someone below suggested, Bandmaid is another all female Japanese band. They are more rock/punk/pop sounding, with superb musicianship and another great vocalist. Yes, these women are so relentless. Some people say that brutality has been so gorgeous. You need to watch them live in order to realize how effortless and flawless they are. Asami used to sing R&B, soul, jazz before she joined Lovebites. Miyako (black hair guitarist) is a concert level classical pianist. I really recommend “Epilogue” (live) because it showcases Asami’s vocals. Other great songs are “Empty daydream”, “Edge of the world” and “Frozen Serenade” (all live). A song that showcases Miyako’s piano playing is “Chopin etude + Swan song” (live)

Miyako is musical prodigy. Starting classical piano at 3, becoming a concert pianist at 16. Teaching herself to play guitar from a book, no formal lessons. Plays guitar. piano, bass and drums, oh yeah, composes most of their music. With the looks of a Japanese supermodel.

EP "Glory, Glory, to the World" was nominated "Global Metal Release of the Year" at the 2021 "Global Metal Apocalypse" Awards and took 2nd place. Song "Glory to the World" written in 2020, when the Covid-19 pandemic swept the world, when millions of people began to get sick and die. The world plunged into the darkness . People get depressed. "Glory to the World" - this is a hymn to the World (Humanity), which will go through the trials that have fallen to its lot (Covid-19) . This is a call to believe that dark times will end, millions of people will stop dying and life will be reborn. This song was written by LOVEBITES to support people (including his fans) in the most difficult moments, instill in them faith and hope for the best. In the Music Video, the director added the church, the reincarnation of Jesus Christ in our time, stigmata, etc., to increase the effect of the song on people. You mentioned joy and that is appropriate. Lovebites has brought me and all their fans a lot of joy over the years. The cool thing is that you could not have chosen a better band to start with when listening to metal. The obvious reason being their amazing talent and song writing ability, but more so their joy. This band is so happy and they write joyous music with positive lyrics. They are a breath of fresh air and holy crap does their new album blow me away.

I think for a better understanding of the creativity of Lovebites, it is necessary to know that vocalist Asami is the author of the lyrics of almost all the songs of the group, with the exception of a few written by Miho. That is, she sings, having a full idea of what the song is about and what she wants to convey to the listener. And this is one of the reasons for such a strong emotional impact of Lovebites on those who see and hear them.

Hello Debbie, I admit that you have made me really enjoy your two reactions, although sometimes you make me suffer a little for your health... Just kidding, nothing better than good music to save you visits to the doctor. When I discovered this fabulous group a little over two years ago, I was hopelessly hooked on them. Gotta totally agree with @carl devries here. I'm a little disappointed someone introduced you to Lovebites with Judgement Day. I would have hoped they would have been more sensitive to the impact it could have on you health-wise, even though the song is all kinds of fantabulous. I'm sure that was alot for you to handle; but I do love how you embraced it and them. We could have lost you right out of the gate there; but very glad we didn't. And shame on whoever recommended Jinjer Pisces, too, and I don't blame you a bit for bailing out on that one (even though I like it a lot.) Back to Lovebites, though...Edge of the World would have been a better choice for you intro to the band. The lyrics really show you where these ladies' heads are at. We can see the state the world is in, and how awful some people can be. Asami and Lovebites tell us to not give in to greed and hate, but to honor love, caring, and yourself in everything you do. I love how you can see Asami project that realization when the tone changes from dejection and despair to choosing not to give in to the darkness, but rather, embracing and spreading positivity. So far, there's another Lovebites reactor who also had a mental issues.. If I'm not mistaking, he had epilepsy, yet he still do his best to watch their live performance..

I will suggest you, the other side of this band, and you can start with their ballad song called : Epilogue , and it's live concert.

Loved the reaction to a great song. It's nice to see someone else named Gordon that is a fan of these lovely ladies. When they had the live autograph session a little while ago (2/5) I could have sworn that I heard my name twice so I wonder if it was him. I see that someone suggested some of their slower songs which should be better for your heart until you get used to the heavier stuff. Enjoy your Lovebites journey.

If you want to hear Asami's vocal and her R&B, Jazz and Soul background try Epilogue,, Edge of the World or my favorite Empty Dream. Anyone LiVE will blow you away. This band is great in front of an audience as you have learned the Wolfpack are crazy about this band. Great reaction as always but I do worry when you are not breathing so keep that pen handy especially with LB as the Midori/Miyako aka M&M get to explode in every song. Miyako is a classical pianist and Swan Song with the Chopin etude intro is a must to see just how insane the talent is in this band

I wanted to leave a comment for a band suggestion you should make a reaction video for next. after I saw some video on your channel, it seems you also need to get to know them. they are Voice of Baceprot, a heavy metal rock band female trio from Indonesia. they have already made their trip for shows in europe 2 times in 2021 and 2022 and performed at wacken open air.
