Jack Russells are high octane, super smart, and really strong swimmers. When I was stationed in Okinawa Japan, I would take my JR Troy down to the sea wall for a walk.. he'd go jump in that deep choppy water full speed like I taught him that.. scared the living shyt outta me!! 😮 He'd be so hyper afterward.. I'd give him bath, a treat, and let him chill for an hour solo cuz he'd be acting hyper paranoid like he's in day two of rehab! 😂🤣😂 RIP Troy 🙏🏾❤️

I saw many, many, many coworkers dogs die from Habu 🐍 bites..😔 Yet, this little samurai is repeatedly killing them and stacking them by my door like it was a sock drawer! 😩 I swear.. Troy kept my blood pressure high with his shenanigans.. I took him to a dog training course with all the obstacles.. He ran through that course like we had one in my backyard for years!!! 😲🤣😂🤣😂

You are such loving and responsible dog owners. This invention of yours not only makes it easier for him to get out of the pool but it could save his life if ever he had become too tired to get out of the water by himself someday.

That breaks my heart! I want to say I saw this pupper on TT last year. Used to think it was so cute and loved her big shake out of the water. She reminded my mom and I of our two dogs, a boy cheweenie and a girl terrier, especially the girl who always had big shakes. We lost them both last week about a week apart from each other. Seeing this clip again made me sad because I desperately miss my babies.. but seeing this sweet little lady has also passed adds to my sorrow. There's never enough time in the world with those we love.

What a sweet and clever girl! She is using a filter as a route to exit the pool and get up on the ledge ( filter that was originally designed for water filtration purposes obviously, you can see the lid of the filter below on the ground). Smart doggie!

Its not just about keeping the pet happy but being safe. How many smaller pets fall into the pool when owners aren't home. This is genius ❤❤❤

A smart dog owner would not give the animal access to the pool when they aren’t at home. I would think they would put a cover on the pool . A long time ago I had an above ground pool and it was covered 100% percent of the time when we weren’t using it to keep animals out including birds and ducks that would go in to poop.

Why would you let a dog outside when you’re not home, it could escape or get hurt by another animal I bring my dog everywhere (she’s a small dog and doesn’t mind being in the car) Might just be because my neighbourhood has a lot of wild animals and nobody’s fence are actually stopping anything from getting in or out though lol

I would attach a piece of carpet to the deck that extended into the pool a couple of feet. Then put some flotation under it so when he swam on it. It would sink enough to allow him to get on it and walk up out of the water and on to the deck. I might even build a platform to attach to my deck. Having it below the water enough that she could swim onto it. Then add a little height closer to the deck to stand up and step on the deck. I go a little bit above and beyond what my dog wants and needs.

10 years ago, I lived along the boat jetty of Marina del Rey. Alongside it was a walking path. Several times I saw an owner walking slowly, watching their dog take their weekly swim. Dog would get to the end of the jetty, carefully walk up the rocks, briskly shake its fur. Owner would scoop up their dog. Owner told me oh how Dog does this every week, obviously loving it.

You could make it much easier for people to read your comments by inserting periods at the end of sentences and capitalizing at the beginning of sentences. Also, it's "a part", not "apart". "They did do this" can be eliminated entirely.

​@@blknightsixtyfo Watch it VERY CAREFULLY AGAIN , to when the dog swims toward the side of the pool. You should be able to see the dog, going into a small hole for an out let,then the dog climbs onto the side of the pool.

It looks like they just upgraded to a bigger filtration system and the dog figured out it could get out through the old one on its own. I could be wrong though.

Probably harder to put it closer to the patio just cuz less space, also probably so any place in the pool tbe dog is close to an exit?

I love seeing this. This is how we are with our four doggos. The house is set up for their comfort. It started 15 years ago when we got our first one Fred. He was my soul puppy. I lost him almost a year ago to the day. We loved him so much we adopted 2 more when he was 6 years old and then two more not long ago. I miss Fred so much. If it wasn’t for my other fur babies, I’m not sure how I would’ve survived the last year. Losing him was one of the hardest things I’ve been through.

This brought tears to my eyes. As above, I also have my soul doggy currently. Maggie , she has gotten me through many trying times. She gets me. Rescued at 11 m9nths , turning 8 soon. I can't begin to think about (eyes welling up)when I won't have her by my side. She is my angel here on earth created and sent just for me❤❤❤❤. One thing I heard that gives me great comfort . I like to hear people describe their near death experiences. Often, they are reunited with their beloved pet. Not all of their pets but the one who pit a stamp on their hearts. We truly are connected. It is never goodbye but I'll be seeing you again❤❤❤❤❤ Until you meet again❤❤ keep being a good boy Fred , mamma's coming. Not now, but when her job is done here❤❤❤
