I bought one and I LOVE IT!! In the blonde wavy. You took away all the intimidating steps to make it incredible. I have a small head. And the headband makes it not move on my head.The hair s so much softer than my $400 wigs!🎉❤❤❤

I'm thinking this one could work for the beach. Especially since you really don't want to ruin an expensive one walking around outside with the salt and sand. Messy up-dog's are perfect for the beach. Would definitely cut at least 6-8 inches off, if not 12. Lol! Thanks for sharing this.

Hi there... I've already watched the great tutorial on how to cut and thin out this wig and thought that it was very educational. I decided to purchase one of these headband wigs you suggested so that I can practice with the tutorial learning how to cut and thin. this will be my first wig purchase and it made sense to me to use it as a learning experience before dropping a whole lot of money on a more expensive wig. It makes sense to be able to care for a wig and to alter it if needed to suit me. Also, I love working on long hair (braiding, ponies, etc.,), so that appeals to me too. even if I end up not being able to wear it, I'd rather make a lot of my beginner mistakes on it without all the stress. love your videos! very encouraging, down to earth and educational.

Since I've gotten into wigs, I've been buying three wigs a month! Two for me--and, one for my very dear girlfriend who has been wearing wigs for years (and, for a long time I didn't even know she was wearing wigs). I think she's been ordering wigs off of Amazon (and, I just ordered my 2nd $2-something dollar wig off of Amazon)--and, though they're not anything like the wigs you order & model on your channel, they work for every day and in a pinch! (BTW, I've purchased Editor's Pick for her--and, she just got Click Click Flash (Shaded Ice Java) today, she's delirious w/having quality wigs. It's such a joy.) Mine aren't so easy to pick out since I'm new to wigs. Your videos really help: last month I decide to order a $27 wig off Amazon-- and, I don't feel the same anxiety and trepidation at altering it-- The 2nd wig I ordered for myself from Amazon this evening, I *plan* to take one of those razor things to it (will pick one up at Sally's) and scissors! Also, experimenting w/dying the first Amazon wig! So, two things, this popped up by algorithm--exactly what I need to view! And, when you're not stressed/anxious about ruining a good wig, I've found, seems like it all turns out good!

This might help those with a petitie head: you could try the Lydell headband wigs on Amazon in the same price range. I bought one and it was tight on my 22.5 head and I had to cut it and put clips in it, but they would work well for a small head.

Mine is long and heavy too. I hacked off some and can't wait to see your thinning video. Ordered your headband and scrunched. I got a half wig on Amazon for 18$ and attached to old wig grip. I will say it is a lot cooler than a full one. Thanks so much for all you do

LOL, did I get my point across? HA HA! Seriously though. I just filmed the video where I cut and thin it out (will be out this Tuesday) and I said it a lot in that one, too! It has a CRAZY amount of hair!

I got mine yesterday same color as yours and I bought a brown beautiful beautiful wig

It looks really lovely on you. Didn’t work for me because way too much room in the scalp which made it really puffy . Even adjusting it as small as I can. My head circumference is 12 1/2 inches. I’m glad I tried it but I’m returning it.

Denise! I do love this headband wig BUT I need to report a company oddity: I purchased a really nice $25 wig from Sapphire Wigs on Amazon, love it, in a gorgeous not-strange gingery red. After I saw this review, I went back to my purchase to look at other colors but it no longer says it’s from Sapphire wigs but from Wigbuy! I’m not complaining, but the fact that the name of the company switched for no reason we can know is off-putting. Honestly, for $25, it’s a perfectly good wig and I love it that you’re reviewing these because good wigs can really break the bank. I just wish we could count on stability of their businesses.

I love the curl pattern it's so pretty I'm definitely looking forward to tip Tuesday Denise. I wonder why budget friendly wigs have so much hair? Surely it costs the manufacturers more! 🌼

Hi! I haven't tried that, but I did hot glue a headband on an old wig that I cut a little within my first year of wig wearing... it definitely wasn't a perfect execution but worked for what I needed... I've always planned to try doing this again now that I have more experience but just haven't gotten around to it. Here is the video I did: kzread.info/dash/bejne/dYmfr89robSzhps.html (keep in mind I was BRAND NEW at wig wearing, this was less than 5 months after I bought my first wig)

put velcro ends together. put on head like elastic band. then make adjustments.

The problem i find when I sew the adjusters down is when I have to stretch it over my block head for combing or styling, its super tight. I'm afraid it will stretch it out so much that the stitching around the border will start to come loose over time.

I fell for this , but I could not make it work for me . I cut it and thinned it , removed the attached headband but I could not make it work . £30 went in the bin . I don’t have enough life left ( I’m 70) to struggle with a look I don’t like.

Guess who just ordered this wig 😆 🤣 😂.. meee. Not funny yo... I do love it and I'll get friday... I can hardly wait... you make it look so good gurl !!) 😍

It is heat friendly so you can... I don't find heat friendly curls as easily as human hair, though.

I'm not sure how realistic it would look... I really think you need a thick hand band like I show to hide the one that is attached and make it look realistic. I'm afraid a visor would provide enough coverage, but since I haven't tried it I can't say for sure.

Hey, it actually comes in a gray shade. Being such an inexpensive wig, I wonder how shiny the gray is. My circumfuse is 21 1/4" will this be too big on me?

Mine came in a mailing bag, but one thing I've noticed Amazon doing lately is just slapping a label on the manufacturer package. They usually give the option at checkout to mail in Amazon Packaging, though, so make sure you select that option at checkout if you don't want it mailed in just this packaging. I think it is their attempt at going green, but I for one do not want people seeing what I ordered.

I purchased a Toni Brattin interchangeable (2) headbands fall. It has a 3/4 cap. There are 3 combs, 1 in front and 2 on each side. How can I secure the bottom?

You can sew in a comb or clip to the bottom and that would help a lot. Another option would be to wear a wig grip underneath and that will also secure the bottom as it will "grip" it some. Hi 👋 I have a headband wig similar to this and unfortunately, “No” you can’t cut anywhere off the front because the headband is attached to the front and all the way around actually. I could imagine that maybe you might be thinking you could pull some of the top over the forehead and band and cut that shorter to make a bang hang OVER the band, however, I do NOTTTTT believe that would actually work out for you well at all because I do not believe you could Ever get the “bang” to flop OVER the band and hang DOWN over and into your forehead well AT ALL. I think you’d end up with them sticking up way too high- above the band… no matter how long you cut them. On top of all that, the FIBERS these budget friendly wigs are made of are way too dry and slick (sort of staticky) to cut into and have lay easily. I just don’t think you’d get what you want but maybe Denise will have a different opinion if she answers this question.
