I’m blown away by your synopsis of Tannhäuser. What an awesome ability to convey the antiretroviral plot of the Opera - scene by scene with the remarkable ease to convey the salient parts of this Masterpiece 🤟🏽

Great video content! Excellent. Thanks for the Sawallich suggestion. However, I went to Spotify and it is almost impossible to find a Tannhauser version that is free of noises (background static, coughing, instrument touches, paper flip, etc.). Any recommendations?

I recently re-watched "Fantasia 2000", and in it, they mention how Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" was almost a segment. And I thought: How many operas would make good Disney movies? And I stubled upon this video in my search for learning what Tannhauser was actually about. Thank you for explaining it in such a way that made it very easy for people to understand. In fact, it was so easy to understand, that I was able to imagine the movie in my head as you explained it. Needless to say, this was very well put together. Please keep up the good work.

Thank you so much for the view and the kind regards! I was bouncing around ideas for more opera videos, and the relationship between Lohengrin (son) and Parsifal (father) is great! Thanks again for watching and commenting!

@@BeagleRampant Yeah thanks very much, Tristan und Isolde is the best opera ever written in my opinion but i think the story about 2 people must not fall in love fell in love and the legendary Tristan Chord is pretty obvious. But Parsifal's story is really ambiguous and who is his mother, is it Kundry? And finally who is his wife, whom also is Lohengrin's mother.
