Summary of first part: Manaow is a first year student at the engineering department, and all first year have to collect bunch of signatures from second year students. Or alternatively can collect one signature of the "head" of the second year students. Which is this second girl with glasses (Gyoza). Manaow asked Gyoza for a signature, cause she doesn’t want collect it from lots of people, and said she will do anything Gyoza will ask, and Gyoza asked to take part in some contest (something like beauty contest). That activity in The Series many university in Thailand have it😂. We call it “รับน้อง" (welcoming juniors). It is an activity that allows first-year juniors to participate. Year 2,3,4 seniors will take care of you. Head senior tend to be in their second years. This activity at each faculty are different and each university too. But the head senior is very very fierce 😭💀. This activity(รับน้อง) aims to make friends with new friends and seniors, be united, and be orderly (but some things don‘t make sense, haha). It’s like a military camp sometimes. Most of the juniors don’t like this activity because seniors have power,sometimes they punished juniors when they make mistakes, that makes many people afraid. Or if a junior makes a mistake, a 2-year senior must be held responsible. In the past, this activity(รับน้อง) was so violent and hazing that it was in the news, causing many universities to cancel this activity. Today this activity aren‘t many . something bad have change. It’s become warm welcome,fun , and chill instead. When this activity(รับน้อง) ends .Seniors will take care their juniors like teach them things like tutoring and help with choosing subjects , buy some snacks for them. The red shirt is a workshop shirt belonging to the Faculty of Engineering. Each university is different. Some university is blue shirts, green shirts, red shirts, and more. Engineering students will receive a gear necklace in their first year. Engineering students often give it to people who they like. sorry for my bad English🥹🙏

AHHHH!! Sorry I'm late, but dude I was waiting for this- I legit had the same reaction as you (but dude poor Alee he was just minding his own business). Legit the first episode I was so confused as well I was like "What in the world is happening? It's cute but hello." All I got was that she wanted her to sign that paper, also BRO I WAS SO CONFUSED BUT ALSO I MEAN I LIKE IT- the full blown Love octagon that's going on is insane and it's just going to get crazier (also same I relate to Manaow, but also why is everyone so attractive- respectfully they can all step on my neck)! And I had the exact same reaction as you with the whole eating each other/the food that definitely stunned me for a minute but after learning that their names mean a type of food makes a lot of sense and it's quite cute and sneaky not going to lie, and the whole Gay panic the entire show was so freaking cute I love it (but again shocked how fast they were kind of going, in GAP we didn't get them actually together until episode seven- so it was just shocking)!
