Terrific stories - well done Drax! And boy are several of these folks spot on - total truth! Who you really are will eventually come out in SL, no matter how much of a "player" you try to be. Brava! Bravo!

I met my now husband in Second Life. Never expected anything like it! You never know what could happen.

That is the magic!

I met my RL partner in SL in 2014. I was just about to move to a new city on my own and he kept me company on the phone/Skype through it all. We took the leap and met in person in 2016. In 2019 we decided to live together and looking at places to live together online, him video calling me to see round the ones we found was fun. We found the home we wanted and I moved 200 miles to move in with him. We're still going strong today and got engaged in 2023. We've also been the proud parents of a Golden Retriever for the past 18 months ♥♥♥

Happy Valentine's Day everyone and again thank you big time to everyone who reached out and shared their stories. Only a small portion of couples are profiled here and just to state the obvious, should a SL skeptic view these comments: there are TONS more relationships that are loving and stable and often expand to the "real" world. My recommendation if you are lonely? Take a stroll through SL and meet an ACTUAL person, rather than clicking through one of those AI companionship things ... lots of wonderful people in here!

I love seeing any kind of success story in Second Life! It's amazing how people can still make connections inworld and keep them irl. My only criticism is I would have liked to see another gay/queer couple, but I enjoyed what was there ^_^ Thanks for putting in the effort and making these videos!

Thx so much for the comment and I can only agree: I would also like to see more people from other parts of the world etc but I am confined in terms of storytelling in the sense that I can only feature people who come forward, and are willing to share. For totally understandable reasons a lot of people do not feel comfortable doing that. But my personal goal is to represent SL the way I see it: as arguably the ONLY digital space with this breadth of diversity of expression!

I so love this show, I wish we could get more people to write in. Beautiful stories. I'm always sending these videos to people seeking love. It's possible to find it anywhere.

Thank you so much for your comment! There is always a lot of folks responding to initial "casting calls" but then it is a matter of logistics. It is time consuming to put these videos together :)

These are amazing stories, thank you for sharing, brought tears to my eyes. I to met the love of my life he is a bit younger but we have been together for 6yrs now - we met in a different game but here in SL we developed our relationship

Took me until very late editing the interview to realize WAIT A MINUTE … “driving into the sunset from SL”? There can only be one way to visualize this 😊

I am celebrating almost two years in real life with my partner after meeting in Second Life. We met in SL through a shared connection. Then we dated and eventually got married in SL. After some time, we decided to make the leap into RL. For me, this meant moving to a new country, a new language, a new culture. Every life has a challenge or two but there has not been one second across the almost two years of RL that I would ever make a change. I live in a new country, have a new home, car, life and friends I could not even imagine. Most important, I have a soulmate and we met in Second Life. I am forever grateful for Second Life. I was able to meet the love of my life. We've only grown stronger together on the RL side during this time. Love can be made in SL.

Sweet, first story is lesbians. :D ♥♥ Maybe I will make it with my hubby one day.... our story is... interesting... I met Nicholas.. his master, at Niaroo.. he took me to Castro, which is gone now... went to the club, he showed me around.. then after I sat on the bench outside the club... then this beautiful boy came along... my graphics sucked at the time and I couldnt see him, i had friendly only on, so much lag... he sat down nxt to me, reached out... talked.. cuddled.. talked about our fav colors, and from then... we call it Love at first sit... its been an amazing three years... we never fight, always silly, adventures... Ive been with so many horrible selfish people, but this boy... meda Fae McCullen.. is my everything....

THank you for the kind words but would you please call my wife to remind her of my work being highly regarded? Whenever I mention my SL fame she tends reminds me that I washed the laundry with the wrong detergent or should not wipe Chlorox with bath towels ... sigh 😝
