I listened to his sermon with the same title and it blew me away. I got convicted that God brought me to my remembrance the people that I should've shown real love. God bless you more Ps Jentezen.

I been through some things in my life that were hard, but nothing harder than being separated from my child. When all you can do is pray and trust God, your truly doing all that you can do. But, just remember He works things out in His timing. What an awesome God we serve!

Amen I believe everything happens with a reason

Being a parent is hard. I love my oldest son yet no matter how much love we pour into him he isn't soaking it in. Out of anger/hurt I felt like throwing my hands up , but after seeing this clip I now understand I need to change my attitude. I trust God to guide him. I will never give up.

I can understand what the pastor went through ,i have a daughter i am also going through the same thing . I had not giving up yet on her . The lord is still in control he will one day let us be a family again i am bless to be apart of Free Chapel . We very bless to have a pastor that keep it real all the time .

I serve a church for 3 years i was the right hand of the pastor he still from me my 3 years of savings living me brock so i hade to start all over again i went to Jentezen Franklin Church in GA after 3 months i feel in my heart i hade to do something so i went to Jentezen Franklin Church leaders told them what happened with my previous pastor and they turned me away they said they couldn't help me they actually send me to a spanish church i call them and all the spanish pastor did for me was to pray. So i felt like i hade no't church one robed me the other turned me away the other just pray for me. So i lost faith in church is been 7 years since stop going to church because of them. Church turn its back to me but no't my GOD it is because of what happened with this churches everytime i want to go church i remember and keeps me from going. A real church will never turn someone away JESUS never did. Wen hes disaples told him people are hungry send them home JESUS said you feed them. This churches brock my heart and faith in church😔

I find this testimony very encouraging. Such a blessing when folks talk about the trials and challenges they faced and how God has brought them through the difficulties. This is a very encouraging and meaningful testimony. So glad to have these resources

Jesus said if you love mother father children you are not worthy of me , sometimes you must let people go and trust God to restore relationships , but you still must take up your cross and follow him no matter who left your life

If I understand what Jentezen is saying about forgiveness, i don't agree. It is important for us to forgive over and over, but forgiveness doesn't mean reconciliation. And love isn't always the warm fuzzy kind. Forgiveness doesn't always mean continuing to spend time with people who don't respect your boundaries. Tough love says we draw sensible boundaries that are good for both parties.

I love this man so much, he is so sincere and such a humble person.

Awesome clip, I came to the saving grace and knowledge of our beloved Lord and Saviour 10 years ago through pastor Franklin. God used him as a conduit, I feel especially akin to him. May God restore his beautiful relationship with his daughter. Love u Ps Franklin. God Bless yr family and may God continue to use u mightly🙌🙅

I love this man

I’ve been hurt so badly and I do feel alone. I know love is the only way through it though and I pray that I can also love like I’ve never been hurt before. That is my prayer ❤

The moment he said "sometimes it takes the worst things done to you, to bring out the best in you." I felt that! Because I was kicked out from the church where I was going cuz I can't bring souls they said and too much stabbing in my back with the wife of my pastor that happened to be the only person that I love very much besides my family .. she's my best friend it hurts me I never see it coming. But I build a life group right now that have 45 disciples in just a month and half. I realised that my bestfriend bite my fruit... now I have the courage to forgive her with all the things she have done to me. Forgive and remember it differently .

Yes yes Amen. I strayed so far from my Heavenly Father without even realizing. Blinded by the fruits of the flesh, alcohol, drugs, promiscuity. Repentance and surrender. Declaring Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Now I realize Satan is a defeated foe (but not to be underestimated). He cannot gave me or my children!! Praying for my mom who is struggling with stage 4 breast cancer. It’s a monster. Pray for strength and help from the Lord to get well and take care of my two children and mother on my own. I believe the stronghold of a generational curse is something I need to break. It’s a strong oppression with lots of spiritual warfare. 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Ouch😣. The line when he said something about family across town and you don't talk. I have a few sisters I have been pushing away that live a few blocks from me. And it's because of bitterness /hurt ect. I know I need to deal with this already...

Hurt like you've never been loved! I am sure it was tough for this couple but I have suffered far worse (and its on-going) and so have many others, except we don't get invited places to share our feelings then tell everyone else how they oughta be like us (regardless what they suffer!) Most of us (well, me) never had any help or any comfort from anyone in the situation - faced it entirely alone, no family, no friend. When you grow up, it means you learn no one cares about you and you just have to get on with life anyhow. You gotta realize this or you will waste your life - no one cares. Get on with it.

Well, in times like these, I was often surprised to see how much my church family cares about me.

I need to ask a question though........in relation to forgiveness, I get that you should forgive a lot, 70 times 7, but what about being taken for a fool? If someone is hurting you in your life if you keep on forgiving them they will keep on hurting you. They'll never change. At what point do you say enough is enough? Or do you just keep on suffering at their hands?

Eoin....forgiveness is not the same as reconciliation. So you forgive so you don't get bitter, but for your own health and wellbeing you may need to establish boundaries with the offender. This is not a healthy situation. Hope this helps somehow

Get away from the person but in your own space you can forgive without having an active relationship with the person. For instance, I escaped an abusive boyfriend. He doesn’t contact me or his child but I had to forgive him and it took years to do so. I refuse to let him into my life but I can forgive.

I would Love to hear the daughters side of this story. Christians manufacture more atheist then anyone. Lord please let that precious girl testify about her experience being raised in the Sanhedrin. I can feel the self righteous pretentious arrogance coming off this man.

Not realistic, Love with the Love of Christ & ask God to increase his Love in you daily. These evangelicals dont even preach scripture thet preach poetry lol
