It's funny to see the word geezer used that way. Growing up the only time the word "geezer" was used was to refer to an elderly person (usually a man) who was strange or annoying, strict, or "too set in their ways". Something like that. Funny to see it used in a positive manner lol.

His description of grief is spot on. It is so right. Grief is like a black box, you just go through the stages of looking right into it, to moving it, to closing the lid, but it's always with you. I am aware of his work, not with Love Island, but as a Youth Mental Health Ambassador, and I wish him the beat of luck with it. Mental health needs to be treated the same as physical health. Both inform each other, and are as problematic as each other

@Nav Sharma CBT but I was fortunate enough to be able to afford some sessions privately, the ones I went to with NHS were not so great at the time but we are going back over two decades. I tried medication for a bit and it either was not for me or the wrong one. I just try and keep my mind healthy the same way that I keep my body healthy, fresh food, sleep, exercise. Also though just like your body needs rest, your mind does too and to not feel guilty for resting when it needs a little more help and try and dial life down as much as possible, just remember to get up once you've finished wallowing. It is hard to pull through the dark days...music helps, moving my body helps, even if it is a quick dance in the kitchen to a song on the radio. Mostly just keep trying things that work for you and recognise when you are spiralling down. The world is a really, really tough place to live in at this current time and remember you are never alone with this struggle. Sometimes I refocus the energy and have a quick chat to a neighbour just to get that connection we all crave.

My grandad left a message on ny answering machine one day, I got home from work and listened to it. I actually googled my mum's name before I called him back thinking I would find out something about how she died - then when I called him that's when he told me what had happened. It's really weird, I was working in a restaurant at the time, and I'd broken so many glasses and plates that day. I thought it was just me being clumsy. I will never forget that day.
