More about the Series: Love is Blind follows the journey of singles who want to be loved for who they are, rather than what they look like. They take a less conventional approach to modern dating where they hope to meet the person they want to spend the rest of their lives with...without ever having seen them. With no distractions from the outside world, the singles talk to a stream of potential love interests and when a meaningful connection is made, they propose and then lay their eyes on their fiancé for the first time. Engaged and back in the real world, as the couples plan their wedding day, they will quickly discover whether they can turn their emotional connection into a physical one before the fast-approaching ceremony. Hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, this addictive series seeks to uncover whether looks or age do matter, or if love really is blind

Shayne takes playful banter as insults because he only wants to hear compliments but wants her to just brush off real insults and disrespectful comments and trying to play victim, she dodged a bullet. Shayne has so many issues.

So he’s making Natalie apologise for causing him to treat her badly?!?!This was hard to watch. I’m so glad she said no, he would have emotionally destroyed her.

He does not deserve her. Even after all this time, she still feels emotional about it. This shows how genuinely emotionally invested she was. He just had issues he needed to sort out himself. NO ONE CAN MAKE YOU FEEL WHOLE. You have to get there yourself!

NATALIE. Dry every tear you could possibly cry right now. The tears are what he wants. The end of you two was a GIFT.

shayne is a giant gaslighter. i really wish he didn’t have that ability to push natalie the way he does. she is an awesome and strong, independent woman and i hate that he makes her cry. i hope she can move forward from this and find someone who deserves her.

There’s no way to make him feel like he’s good enough. He’s insecure and is constantly seeking validation and affirmation. I don’t understand why Natalie is apologizing for him saying nasty things to her.

shayne simply needs to understand that not everything is about him like he is gaslighting the hell out of her

What really touched me was how freaking sweet Natalie’s father was. You can just feel how much he adores his daughter. Natalie needs to use the example set by her dad and look for someone of THAT caliber, not some coked out insecure gaslighter

This show is so flawed istg. Half of the couples problems that arise in their relationships is BECAUSE of the structure of the show. Not very related but Shayne is extremely toxic throughout, and especially here, yet the only person getting critiqued was Shake? Ok then...

If anything I'm happy that Natalie has the show to look back on so that she can see what happened with her own eyes instead of questioning herself every time Shane tried to deny his words and actions. Shane is so manipulative its gross and he should never be in a relationship, let alone a marriage.

Shayne is a horrible person. The gaslighting and self victimisation is top notch. Why is he making her cry like that?

The problem is Shayne doesn’t think he’s good enough. No one can fix that for him and certainly Natalie can’t fix it.

Natalie deserves so much more than this insecure, toxic, self-absorbed man who is draining the life out of her

Shane is using Natalie as an emotional punching bag for the emotions he can’t process within himself. It’s almost looks like he wanted to push Natalie to apologize and feel bad about herself. Natalie really liked him, and it shows she has considered all his feelings. But it just seems Shane wants to have this emotional choke hold on her- I hate that!

Shayne would have been a great match with Shania. They are both self-centered individuals with a narcissistic attitude.

This is the a great example of a guy doing something wrong, brushing over the fact it was 100% his fault and then when she starts crying trying to get her emotions out because he emotionally bulldozed her he gaslights her into getting her to admit much more fault than she deserves. If there was ever a guideline for emotional manipulation and a template for a grandiose narcissist.

This was so uncomfortable to watch. Just from the snippets we heard on the show, he told Natalie he hated her & she was the worst thing to happen to him, & she felt scared of him at the alter. I can't imagine any situation where I'd say these things to my partner, much less turn around & blame them for my words/actions. People with anger issues, substance abuse & mental health problems do that. Shayne is toxic, Natalie needs to cut contact entirely.

This show had so so many people who are mature, emotionally and mentally balanced and ready for marriage. Yes that was sarcasm.

She said “I made you feel like you were not enough.” His response was “so you don’t feel like you did anything wrong?!?!?” …opposite of what she said

why is shayne’s face like that when she starts crying. I really feel for Natalie - she deserved better and that’s why in the moment knew she couldn’t say yes to him
