I actually cried for him at the end of the show and when he was at the reunion. I didn’t know the sweet, intelligent guy he was until this interview but I absolutely knew all along that he didn’t deserve the harsh way she treated him. I’m sure he wasn’t perfect behind the scenes, but still nobody deserves the harshness that she unleashed on him. She could have handled that so much better.

My brother is very honest to a fault. He reminded me so much of him. He doesn’t want to hurt anybody but he won’t lie either. A lot of the time he is misunderstood because of it. I felt for him all season. I never thought he was mean. I thought he tried to prove he could be fun and sweet and it wasn’t enough for her.

Cole wasn't perfect.... no one is. Zanab literally lived in a world created inside her own head. Through her skewed perspective. I'm glad they played that clip at the end of the reunion. Unfortunate she still couldn't admit that she may have made a mistake.

I agree but I also think that people like that KNOW the evil crap they do, that’s why they plan it. There are many people who are insecure, I used to be when I was young but I’ve learned to love my self and defend my self. But she’s just evil, in my opinion she wanted the poor her attention but she knew what she was doing and just wanted to hurt him and humiliate him ugh!

I don't think Zanab planned anything, I think unconsciously her mind operated conspiring against her to make her feel not enough, because of her childhood. So she can only see signs of her being not enough in other people. She needs therapy for sure and I believe one day she will understand that many of her problems are because of her

I've heard Cole being described as golden retriever energy... he absolutely is. I am quite of fond of how he presents himself wholly and honestly. He seems to have a secure ego, one that does not need to prove itself or demean others. Way to go Cole! I am rooting for you. On another note, he is totally right, Zanab came into this with those insecurities then projected them onto everything else. She wanted to destroy him but it backfired.

@@raquelr8775 how did he demean her? He made comments, they both said they were ok with taking jabs at each other jokingly. If anything, Zanab had a problem with her delivery, very condensing and deceptive. She clearly needs to grow and love herself before seeking a new relationship.

So glad that he mentioned she planned the speech and told her friends about it. It was so obvious.

Zay probably thought she was having a “Deepti moment” but she totally wasn’t. She was being straight up malicious!

Z was a total headcase. I always got the sense that Cole was a good dude dating a very broken person. Great interview!

This ladies is your proof that there are absolutely 100% still good men out there. Respect to Cole. I hope he finds someone as genuine as him to be happy with.

Cole is such a genuine guy, I really hope he finds someone, someday that treats him right. Personally, I feel like Zanab walked into that show bitter and insecure, then put all that on Cole. He didn't deserve any of that, a simple "this isn't going to work out long-term" would've sufficed, she didn't need to brutally tear him apart. That says so much more about her character than it does his 🤷🏼‍♀️

I felt so bad for Cole in the reunion, even before they exposed Zanab's lies. Everyone ganging up on him when Bartisse was way worse. He did not deserve the treatment he was getting & I hope that the other castmates apologized to him. He's got golden retriever energy for sure lol. He seems so sweet & sincere.

I couldn’t even finish watching it…I was so disgusted by it & everyone’s actions towards him. As if he was the only guy that a problem. Yeah Cole wasn’t perfect & he made his mistakes, do i think he’s a genuine guy? Yes! I just don’t think he deserved to be the ONLY one in the hot seat.

hearing Cole's new perspective on relationships is so heartbreaking! he seems like such a sweet, cute guy and deserves love. especially since you can tell he learned so much from the show and has really matured

You can tell that Cole even took this experiment serious bc he’s trying to become a better person because of it and in general. The way he speaks matches his energy, it’s sad someone tried to ruin that for him.

Cole is spot on. Insecurity clouded Zanab's vision and she's used those feelings to manipulate how everyone looked at Cole. Manipulation and gaslighting. I feel so sorry for what he went through.

@@krisa6580 Go rewatch from the very beginning Zay herself said she was insecure. She told the cameras that she had an "old dark side" that said "she didn't deserve to be this happy". Through the whole season she says it. By the way the producers ask everyone to rate everyone.

He still looks sad imo. I don't agree that he looks better than ever, you can tell he's still processing that shit and it really impacted him. I wish him well!

This man will make a woman very happy someday; as long as he choose wisely! His intellect and ability to be insightful and grow is very beautiful. Every interview he does makes me like him even more.

I hated seeing Cole cry out like that in front of the world while everyone on that stage was either silent or bashing him. I really felt for Zey because of her parents but sista girl needs therapy, she is a liar and a manipulator. That cutie scene was the opposite of what she said it was, he had even asked her earlier if she wanted a poke bowl.

Cole is amazing. A phenomenal guy. Cole… God took her out of your path as your wife is out there waiting to meet you. Please don’t let her color your future relationship or how you open up. You deserve the world and you will get it. Your energy is everything.

Cole is a doll and a catch. I am SOOOOOOOOO happy that he is now free to be himself and that he will find someone who loves and accepts him for exactly who he is.

I’m so glad he’s getting the opportunity to show who he really is and tell the truth. Zanab’s insecurities make her borderline abusive in my opinion. So glad that marriage did not happen.

So relieved to see this and that Cole is seemingly his happy self from the start of the show.

I adore Cole. He was simply himself throughout. The clapping at the wedding after Zanab's speech was classless. Easy way to get over everything is knowing her behaviour has nothing to do with you.

Cole did nothing wrong. He dodged a huge bullet. Poor guy this is traumatic, hope he heals.

Cole reminds me of Mr.Peanut Butter from Bojack Horseman. His personality truly gives golden retriever but in such a positive way. It’s really cool to see him grow more and really take away something from this experience. It’s really cool how he’s realized he might’ve been in the wrong for certain things and that truly takes a lot of growth to realize things like that. Glad he’s doing good and he’s happy in life cause he deserves it.

Cole did NOT deserve how he was painted. For Z to say he was controlling is just bananas, legit she wanted to make him look as bad as possible. I hope he finds someone awesome 💛

And he’s absolutely right, she’s projecting her own insecurities and she’s unaware of her behavior. In Zay’s mind it felt bigger to her than what it actually was because she’s battling with herself mentally.

As a fellow Taurean i instantly guessed Cole was a Taurus. His pureness but at the same time he's real af it's just beautiful

So happy to see Cole get a platform where he can speak freely about his experience. They did him dirty. It hurts to hear this experience hurt him to the point he's not as excited to find his person.

Yea, Cole was always so considerate of how Zanab was feeling. In the cuties scene even, he was trying to figure out how to celebrate with her family.

I was friends with someone like Zay and I still struggle to understand what the fuck would possess someone to act this way. I really think the girls of the cast are being manipulated by her and some of them will eventually see her for what she really is and break away. It’s really a wild experience to be played by someone like this because they are SO convincing in the good times. I will never forget the day that the vail was pulled down and I saw this “friend” for what she was which was a fraud who I also had shared some great memories with. 😢

What's crazy is they have released the After the Alter episodes (a year later) and everyone (the girls and Brennan) still seems to believe her and not like him. It's so weird! Did they watch the same show that we watched? Did Cole pay someone off to not show all the bad stuff? My mind is blown. They need to redeem themselves and give him his own show. The only thing he did that was sus, was his interaction with Colleen... (was that he name?)... and if we are all being real... they meet someone and propose in a week... and then get to interact with other people they were interested in. After a week, naturally you might not 100% in with the person you chose. Also, he seems to be just a guy who is radically honest to a fault... he operates and answers in truth... but he didn't consider how his answers might affect other people... like the interaction with Colleen or when he rated the other girls beauty higher that Zanabs. All in all #TeamCole

I hate that ppl throw around the term narcissist for ppl who only have very slight tendencies (we all do), but I watched a few vids on why Zanab is a clinical narcissist. At first I thought it was her trauma but hearing a professional talk @ it was really interesting

I’m glad Cole can be self-reflective, but I don’t think he should be so hard on himself. I was shocked and then appalled by her behavior pretty much the entire time. I wish the best for everyone involved but the person who should be apologizing and doing interviews and introspection is Zanab.

The truth always comes out. Let the universe do it’s thing and speak your truth. Good for you Cole. You will heal ⭐️

Genuinely, Cole is the type of man I have been patiently waiting to find. I'm 28 and been single for years because I CANT find someone with a heart and personality like his. It gives me hope that there is good men out there. And I hope it can give him hope that I truly would be a woman who loves the quirky Cole things.. we exist! Peace and love always 💕

I remember several times they argued because she got mad and he was like "what is happening?". She was internalizing and overexamining everything then took out everything on him. Rather than speak to Cole about the issues she had.

Can we just talk about how dreamy Coles eyes are 😩 FYI: Zanab has been doing this her entire life. Without therapy perhaps and not taking accountability for how she goes about these things. Unfortunately, she won’t ever be happy until she fixes that part of her and finds what deeper issues contribute to it. The only thing she did was humiliate Cole and got a few seconds of an ego boost. I think it was a blessing in disguise for him..

This is honestly one of the biggest blessings for him that he didn’t end up marrying her. She was absolutely awful! Someone who loves someone as much as she said he did they either work it out or break it up. What she did was super super evil imo. It was to feed her ego. Poor dude. He wasn’t perfect absolutely not, but he for sure had a hard go of it

Best interview! As a mom, it would had been hard to watch some female do this to my son, if it was my son on this show.

Third season was so good, especially being in Dallas! Cole was awesome. Zanab internalized everything and I think she had some things to work out within herself. I hate how everyone ganged up on him at the end. So cool Elvis to bring Cole to your talk show 😁

I also thought she was a bit chubby first and she can thank Cole that she lightened her hair and lost weight and had a massive improvement in how she looks now. EXACTLY!! Even her posture at the reunion was completely different than on the show. You could see she had confidence issues when she kept asking if she really looked different without makeup. Forgetting that she was the one who said it first. I think it was not only his appearance, which she described as a male Megan Foxx, but the age difference. I’ve dated younger and the thoughts do creep in. She was broken and tried to break him to make herself feel better.

@@alexvukasin9769 Sorry, but if a short fat, bald man is dating a Supermodel, she is clearly too attractive for him and it will create all sorts of problems in their lives, just as he always thinking she might use him for money or she might be interested in other guys. Society might ask why their together and label her a gold digger. Men will approach her although she is with him and this will create friction. He will start arguments because his self esteem will suffer by the problems in society that will happen sooner or later. Therefore, it is proven that people of similar attractiveness, similar income and similar values do better because those problems will simply not occur - so the relationship will be less problematic. Especially men, do not want to realize that Dating women out of their league is a bad idea and will cause self esteem issues for them in the long run - and they will blame it on the woman

Cole went from the most unlikeable man on the show to the most genuine and loved!!! He did not deserve the treatment he got from that insecure woman!

As a therapist and behavior specialist I can professionally say, I would have assessed Zanabe for “Bi-polar” disorder. - but then I watched the reunion and thought Omigosh? Maybe Cole’s manipulation is why Zanabe acted like a rude cold hearted roller-coaster B! Then they showed the truth about her tangerine (Cuties) story where she made Cole out to be a monster - the “TRUTH” was that she LIED about that story and was waaay off … she was a roller coaster of emotions and constantly gaslighted him and Constantly Gaslighted him!. Cole - thank God your friends prayed for you before the wedding - God saved you from a terrible mistake!.

Cole!! I totally understand what you are saying... My husband is JUST like you in so many ways.. He loves to joke and be playful, and is always himself. Like my husband, you are a sweet man of God, and have no intention of hurting anyone... Someday, the Lord will bring a girl into your life who is going to love you for exactly who you are, and just let you be who you are!!!!

You absolutely should feel yourself with your partner, nobody gets in a relationship to walk on the egg shells. So, Cole dodged the bullet

After watching the reunion, let me tell you that my jaw was on the floor. All I want is justice for Cole. Zanab's commentary was mind-blowingly wild, and everyone else's unsolicited opinions about Cole left me dumbfounded. It left me thinking 100% that some of the cast may be paid actors mixed with real people, and the show lost credibility for me. The cherry on top of almost hating Vanessa and Nick was when the show dared to spin the narrative on this "lets sh**t on Cole" bandwagon to show us the clip where Zanab says, "I've only had a banana today..." and Cole says, "...save your appetite." Cole was freaking playing around and not being serious. He even said, "Why haven't you eaten? I offered you a POke bowl earlier." I am 100% team Cole. Nick, and Vanessa make me sick.

the way they portrayed Cole on the show was dumb puppy dog. i come away from this interview with a totally different view. he presents in reality as someone who is optimistic, grounded w secure attachment style,self awareness and a personal growth mindset. He is a beautiful person. It is a relief to me that he values himself enough to know that there were lessons to be learned but that Zay was not the one. That lucky lady is out there and I hope when he finds her we all get to meet her❤

I can’t even stand to listen to Zanab’s interviews, she won’t take an ounce of accountability, and although Cole had some learning to do, he seems very earnest and wanting to learn and grow. I hope the best for him, he is a good man deep down.

cole has such a sweet personality. he reminds me a lot of my husband in both looks and personality. i felt so much for him with zay and still do. (i can see my own insecurities in her and the way she seems unable to let her own femine energy show, and i know growth will happen for her eventually but man was she toxic).

All I can say is Cole you’re a great guy , and you don’t have to fall in love with Zanab , and you’re lucky that she said no in the altar so don’t cry or depressed bout what happened ! You’re lucky she said no😊

How Zanab behaved towards Cole was unacceptable. There are so many helpful lessons for the viewers and the show participants to take away from this season of Love is Blind. In support of Coles continued growth I hope that he will come to understand why the "pool incident" was uncalled for. Being prompted and plied with alcohol by the producers is no reason to lose focus on your fiance. Treating a relationship as sacred and for both parties to whole each others hearts with care is integral. In our attempt to rebalance the scales in the on-going narrative between Zanab and Cole let us not deny him the opportunity to fully blossom by placating him and not asking him the difficult and necessary questions regarding the choices he made.

Agree, we don't need to paint one or the other as the baddie, Cole definitely did things that were wrong, the difference is that Zay wasn't will to acknowledge any wrongdoing.

I’m genuinely impressed by you Cole - just the fact that you are able to self evaluate & recognise your faults in the view of bettering yourself is a clear sign of how intelligent you are. Beautiful too that you were deeply upset at the thought of hurting someone even without intent. Thank goodness netflix decided to show the scene because this zanab was so close to destroying this guy. She may be insecure but man... it's hard what she did. This guy is very sensitive, he is touching.

So glad he had this avenue to explain his side of the story. They were clearly a mismatch, he had this fun/joking demeanor and she couldn’t hear his comedy and lighthearted nature.

I have so much respect for cole seeing him really try to control himself and his words when he was addressing Zanab at Alexa’s birthday. It showed so much maturity. So many people would not have handled that situation that well and lash out or fight back

Cole seems like such a sweet guy and owns his (minor) faults and wants to improve. I think he’ll find the right girl soon!

Cole is the best!! I hate how she acted like he was a bad person! 10 mins watching this you can tell the kind of person he is! Some women just wanted to tear down people because of their own issues! I think a lot of women have self confidence issues but don’t put that on some one else that hasn’t treated or made those issues in the 1st place! I wish Cole all the happiness!

I think Cole had to go through this to take a step back from relationships, because I feel like his next girl will really be 'the one', but she's not coming into his radar for a while yet, and he still has some growing to do. I am very confident though that his wife is on her way, and she'll be everything he ever asked for.
