Pardon my rant but when you look at other Disney twist villains, for as bad as they may be, they at least fit the theme. Professor Callihan is a reflection of an unhealthy coping mechanism for grief. You literally can’t have Zootopia without Bellweather and she symbolizes the antithesis of the film’s message of togetherness. Now that Nuzi is 100% canon, I have to say I really love how this relationship developed. And I also like how in the beginning both N and Uzi had crushes on different drones, but after spending time with each other, they both realized that those crushes were kind of forced and came to like each other instead. It reminds me of how I would just develop these random crushes when I was young but soon realized that I wasn’t really compatible with those people very much. Nice how this show realistically dealt with that kind of situation. Man I love Nuzi so much dude

As much as I adore their dynamic (I'm a sucker for these types of romances in action/adventure/thriller genres), I feel like they probably could have extended more focus to the characters, lore, and story, establishing the groundwork a bit better before introducing anything, as this is only season 1. Of course, I'm not sure how long the producers plan on conducting the series for, and the episodes themselves aren't very lengthy in their run time. I also understand the complications of production, and trying to figure out what concepts, ideas, dialogue, and interactions you'd like to see happen, narrowed down to what you realistically can show at any one time in any given episode. Especially for shorter, time-constrained gigs where you only have eight episodes a season. Still, if they where planning on more after this, which they've eluded to, I'm definitely one to think that they should have saved most of the fluff for later installations. It would have upped the slow-burn aww factor to acceptably heady levels. But I digress. My achilles finds it cute, and therefore, I still ship it. Lol.

This really shows how much context helps a song. In the context of Frozen, it is a song that kinda makes you feel nothing (at least, in my opinion). In the context of Murder Drones, it is a song that makes you feel much! This animatic already has become one of my favorites.

What's interesting is that in the context of Frozen, the song on Eric's end is him randomly throwing various royalty boredom tropes to fish for things to find in common with Anna to create artificial connections that aren't there (hence why he rapidly switches opinions in his few slipups to fit Anna's opinions whenever she expresses any that contradict his). The funny part is that in Murder Drones, N is actually the kind of character Eric pretends to be during this segment so the song fits him as a genuine expression.

I feel the same, The reason is that in Frozen their relationship is "love at first sight", coupled with the fact that it happens at the beginning of the movie, which means that we are not that invested in the characters or their relationship. In murder drones, however, we care very much about Uzi, N and how their relationship develops, thus making the song a much better fit.

YES. I WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREE WITH YOU. When this song played in Frozen, the vibes were kinda just like, "Oh, so that happened, okay." While in this animatic they were, "(insert overjoyed screeching)" Hans and Anna had also just met, so that also brought down the cuteness points of this song. Hans betraying Anna brought the cuteness points down even more once you know all of that was acting and manipulation. But in Murder Drones however, N and Uzi's feelings for each other slowly increased throughout the series instead of love at first sight. Uzi originally had a crush on Thad and N originally had a crush on V. But now, it's changed. So, at this point in their relationship, they already know they're confirmed to be 100% made for each other, and it's not acting. They genuinely, fully trust each other. Their relationship was given time to *develop* unlike Hans and Anna's. Elsa was right in this instant. You can't just marry someone you just met. But in Murder Drones, the random, "Will you marry me?" at the end is 100% canon!

This song is literally perfect for N and Uzi good job

Listen, after this past episode, we need all the NxUzi stuff to cope

That fact that Elsie sings this makes it even better. The animation is SO CUTE!!!!

The fact that Uzi's father wants her to take his place in building doors in the actual series makes this video even better. 👌

This works better than it has any right to. In the original song, the little moments that Anna and Hans aren't on the same page are a subtle warning that they aren't actually right for each other. Here, it's more because N and Uzi are both first timers at the game of love and are still feeling things out. Despite this, the feeling of love is so strong, they both feel that they must be right for each other. Also, Uzi saying that her life has been a series of doors in her face fits surprisingly well.

am i the only one who thought that actual voice actor for Uzi was talking? like i know its a song from Frozen but for a second there i was really impressed that you got Elsie Lovelock to voice act. Anyway, really cool animation.

@veryoriginalnamehaha5607 since these types of problems in shows normally have some type of solution where everyone wins, I doubt that will happen. Plus, they've already killed 2 of the main characters (1 of them being revived) so I don't think they would do that with Uzi
