After my reception to ex, 3 people were arrested, two spent the night in jail. One for assault with a champagne bottle. Cops were parked across the street just handing out DUis as people left. Fortunately, we'd left by the time this all happened! Moral of the story - no open free bars at receptions. People were taking bottles of vodka to their cars.

The real reason for blurring the labels is even more pathetic than that. They might get sued if they don't blur the labels, because these champagne companies *hate* free publicity.

0:12 -- Actually, lots of people were hurt. This couple happened to be taking their wedding photos when the massive explosion in Beiruit on 8/4/20 happened, that leveled a good portion of the city, injured about 300,000, and killed over 200.

Yeah. Even if they didn't know it was from the Beirut explosion, it could be from a terrorist attack or something like that. A lot of people died in that explosion, the city suffered huge damage. That's not fun at all. FA should take that clip out of the video. Just imagine people from Lebanon coming to enjoy a silly video about stupid people just to be reminded of that dreadful day. There's common moral, in many video compilations of wedding fails. Don't try anything fancy, unless you have rehearsed it many times, in identical conditions, with at least, one dress rehearsal. If you have any doubts, keep it simple. All the best for the big day and the years ahead. 👍

Videos like these make me SO glad that our proposal was done in private and that we didn't have alcohol at our wedding. We also didn't have a large wedding party or dancing or over the top photos and such. Just a nice, quiet, genuine wedding and not a spectacle. It was cheaper that way, too. We saved the real money for our honeymoon. Yes, we're selfish. Deal.

@@yasmine2109 given that explosion and how close it was, common sense would say at least someone was hurt. you don't walk away from things like that completely unscathed. Especially with the glass, debris, force of the winds and impact, and so on.

PSA for guys: if your traveling then planning on proposing, keep the ring with you, not in the luggage. His luggage was lost (so was the ring), his anxieties were high, his plans were falling apart and he was unintentionally taking it out on me. Ruined the whole trip.

Good point! You've seen pictures of the couriers with the locked briefcase handcuffed to their wrist? The only way to travel with the ring.

It didn’t make me laugh. It’s so sad for me. I prefer when a child loose the rings, or when people pass out, or when they destroy the cake and no one laugh except me, or when things burn or fall and ruins what should be a perfect wedding. 🤣🤣🤣

I know. What in the world did they _EXPECT_ to happen? What was the point of that? I’d expect guests to get pooped on and the bird to crash into the window. That seems like the obvious common sense thing to happen.

That wasn't a bird release, that was falconry. One person (the groom?) calls the bird by its name - Max - and the owl has jesses on its feet. My guess is that they were planning a cute delivery of a ring, or something. But yes, idiotic to do it in a crowded, confusing room with weird light conditions.

Second clip was from an explosion. Many people died.

My favorite was 0:50 (just bride and groom with Champagne to the face). The way they laughed it off strongly suggests they're just happy to be getting married to each other and don't care about the pagentry of the wedding. That makes me happy to see.
