In my family, we don’t really like spiked eggnog, but (refrigerated) eggnog is a go to drink. Non-spiked eggnog is usually for kids and it just tastes like a runny milkshake with some cinnamon. I stopped drinking eggnog years ago, but I have some every year because my partner enjoys it. (But they really like eggs, so maybe you have to be an egg lover. I’m not).

The minute I saw Christmas Shoes…. HAHAHAHA me and my sister HATE that song (I can’t explain why for any other reason than it’s truly annoying) and my grandmother used to yell at my sister and me because we would make fun of the song in her presence 😂

Haha the egg nog part made me giggle. I LOVE egg nog but I can see how it would seem nasty if it's not something you've had before. Lots of people have egg nog as kids around here (Canada) so I've never actually had it with alcohol. Have never made it from scratch either. Worried I'll make myself ill. 😬

Here in Buffalo, NY we love our eggnog cold. We prefer eggnog from a local dairy farm (Hoovers in Sanborn, NY is theeee best). And the best way to drink this is to pour eggnog into a glass and save room at the top, then fill the rest with spiced rum. Delicious. Store bought eggnog can either be both with cinnamon and spices or without. I prefer with spices but again, from a local dairy farm. Plus the eggs are already cook, hahahaha.

Can confirm as a Canadian ex-pat living in London that egg nog proper (non-alcoholic, btw - we add our alcohol if we want it in North America) is ENTIRELY impossible to find in London, and egg nog period very nearly impossible.

Eggnog is amazing and should not have egg whites or be served warm! 🤣 lookup Alton Brown's eggnog recipe. It is the absolute best. It is alcoholic and should sit in the refrigerator for 2 weeks to a month before drinking. We make a double batch every year in October, and let it sit in the refrigerator until December. Store-bought, non-alcoholic eggnog should be banned from the planet.

We make eggnog with fresh eggs from our chickens, fresh nutmeg and- *crucial*- an ounce of Appleton Estate rum. Nothing the family does is annoying after two of those.

I love eggnog (without alcohol). Do people who hate eggnog also hate milkshakes? For me, eggnog is in the same category as milkshakes--cold, sweet, creamy. Delicious!

I think it’s really funny (strange funny not ha ha funny🤔😂) because I believe that Australia follows the UK more than America (although American things are becoming more common everyday) and we’ve had eggnog for years now. I hate wine, actually alcohol entirely as it tastes disgusting.🤢 I haven’t tried eggnog since it came out here,🤔maybe it’s time I tried it again 😀 I enjoyed both your videos, they were so entertaining 😀👏👏👏 Thank you for making them🥰

You don't have refrigerate eggnog, you just make it! You can put it in the fridge, no problem but you can just make it. I love eggnog, we have it in Australia. You can buy it in Supermarkets! It's lovely warm or hot as before bedtime drink! We don't drink mulled wine or I and my family never have! I don't think, I'll have to look into it.

Although it doesn't come in a non-alcoholic version I believe Advocaat is very similar to eggnog. 😊

I believe eggnog is fairly often drunk by entire families, so no it definitely doesn’t always have alcohol lol. Relatively unsure why people are feeding their children raw eggs even alcohol free but here we are

'Does anyone hate mulled wine?' ... Well Yes! I hate it. Everything about it. I am not a red wine fan, let alone warm red wine. And I'm not into cloves and cinnamon. So I hate mulled wine. Eggnog is the same as a drink they call 'advocaat' hier in the Netherlands. You can just buy that in a bottle here. And you have it with whipped cream. I'm not the biggest fan, but it is far better than mulled wine.
