Mark was correct Caitlyn had a phenomenal career at Iowa in she really bought a lot of attention to women’s basketball in she received tons of praise for her contributions to it but in Coach Daly’s and the South Carolina Gamecock’s finest hour after a undefeated season in winning the championship instead of giving them their due the cameras and narrative was on her.

Thank you Mark with that take on how the media been showing Catlin more love for losing then South Carolina winning the championship

I don’t understand why it’s surprising that the media would follow Caitlin into the tunnel- she’s what most people were tuning in to see, whether they wanted to see her cry or see her smile. The lsu game broke a record, then the UConn game, then the SC game. The common thread is that Caitlin was in those games. People are excited by her and want to see her and that’s why the media is covering her so much. Dawn and her team got their chance to shine, for sure, but there isn’t an individual star on SC’s team that has captured the attention of the nation the way Caitlin has.

Much respect to Raven Johnson on the great D she played. Her shot wasn't falling, ironically just like last year, but she didn't let that affect her game. I always say if MY shot isnt falling....then YOU'RE not gonna score either. I look bad, you're gonna look bad too. There is more to the game than just scoring.

I agree with Mark with the camera being on Caitlin too long after the game. She definitely helped put the spotlight on Women's basketball all season and ALWAYS delivered. But it was U.S.C's and Dawn Staley's night and the camera should've went right back to them.
