Was born in 75. My memories are in the 80s. I loved growing up then....compared to now. Men were kinder (I married a man 22 yrs older and that was the best thing I ever did.) Kids were well behaved and respectful. Schools were better....but the 90s as a teen was awesome too. Best music of my generation.

YES, born in 71, we had three decades of amazing music. Everything started to crap out in the new millenium.

The 80’s were damn near perfect. We really did hit the jackpot of life growing up in the 70’s and 80’s. The internet and cellphones have sucked the soul out of humanity. NEVER to return….NEVER! sad,sad,sad.

I have to say I agree with you. Even my 25 year old daughter agrees. Not sure if you have any young people in your life, but I just wrote a children's book trying to help kids (and parents) use their imagination - to hopefully put down the devices for a moment. @@stephentoback it was great times, meeting people in ‘real’ life, dressed how we wanted and the music was the best. Nobody was on a phone constantly or social media. The only thing that would have been better, was having more photos of the great times!

Fun. I was 24 that year. Back when human relationships were fairly normal before social media came along and ruined it all.

Yep I was too, met my current husband that year we still rock out, my kids love the same music we did in their 20s now, good times.

This guy is really sweet. How considerate with booking the hotel room so they could change clothes and shower. That is so awesome.

This guy is a gem. He looked a bit free-wheeling but he made the effort, thoughtfully renting a car and getting a room for her convenience. He says he won't get married but he knows how to treat a lady well even at 25 :) And his hair is fantastic even for '91 :p

This guy is absolutely adorable. Would have been my dream in 92! 😜 He’s sweet, funny, confident, handsome, and beautifully well-spoken! Just as cute as can be! I hope he kept up with his music

@Donnell Okafor I liked using the hairspray to make my hair super high, it was so popular in Jersey, plus it was easy! I just had my hair cut into a sort of a long “Karen” bob and I hate it so I’m letting to grow out again but not 80’s style this time 😂

I got to meet the Priest at a Sirius Town Hall when Redeemer Of Souls came out. Glenn was awesome. I showed him a picture of the SG I built to look like the one he used to use and he said, "Fooking Brilliant Mate"

It really wasn’t great hair at the time, if you look at his bangs you can see up through them and can tell it’s already at this time it was receding, guarantee you he didn’t have that same hair even 10 years later.....uh and by the way....go look at him now!

🙂 Only maybe the 1st 2 years of the decade. This is overflow hair from the 80’s. Everything changed when Nirvana and grunge hit the music scene circa 92/3. They were the death of the metal-hair bands. 😂

Hey Jessica - thanks so much for the nice comment. I think I was nice, but not so sure about normal lol . We never did see each other after the show. It was a nice date but much of what I said was written for entertainment - sounds mean but I was young and trying to become a rock star or actor or whatever. I have been married for 27 years and have two amazing grown kids. @@jessicapace4235 at least my segment was highly scripted so I have to think others were as well. The producers need to "edit" the conversations to make sure it's interesting and makes for good TV. I'm pretty sure it's the same with all "reality" TV these days.

"Yeah Chuck, can we wrap this up by 3pm, I've got an audition with Megadeth at 4."

I joked with my kids that I owned the same outfit that she was wearing. As I went to click like on the video I read the description and realized it was you on the show - lol! That's fabulous - we need a "Where are they now" series about people that were on the show! Have a great time in life!!

This dude looks like the twin of the Lead Singer of Firehouse , C.J. Snare in 1992 actually haha 🙈🙉🙊🤔🙄😳😉

When I saw the thumbnail, I thought it was the (now 😞) late great CJ Snare. WOW, u look exactly like him. Looks like u 2 definitely hit it off 🙂. Hope u guys went on more dates! I am still in shock on CJ's passing..I loved Firehouse from the first time I heard "Don't Treat Me Bad", I was 12 yrs. old in 1991. Huge loss.

I used to love this show back in the day! When I was giving birth to my son, it was on the T.V. in my hospital room. Even though I was in excruciating pain, I asked my husband to please turn up the volume! Couldn't miss a second of it! Lol 😉😊😁

Ha!ha!ha! ah man, this is pretty cool! I haven;t seen this show in YEARS now .I remember when the whole "grunge" thing took over . Drove me nuts! All my favorite bands over shadowed . I HATED that "scene" for a long long time but now i'm cool . Still into all my favorite hard rock and metal from way back . I don't mind Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains and a few others but i've also mellowed! ha!ha! Anyhow, Sounds like you've had a good life man . Cheers! Keep on rocking!

I guess we ended up in the same place. I to am an old dude married 27 years :) I never saw her again after the show. Even back then reality TV wasn't real. We did go on a date that went something like what we said on the show but there was no connection. :(
