Corporate and political greed will unfortunately always get in the way. This would be ideal for me though. I don't want a mansion, or piles of money, or even a car. A small house in a quiet bicycle-friendly village would be all I'd ever need.

If you’re an american most of you don’t even know the correct definition of “Socialism”. They think it’s no different than communism. And because of the sickening amount of outside influence from the refried Jesus wheezers - you will NEVER see anything like this paradise blossom in the wasteland that is the US. There are multiple political parties in the Netherlands and in their country prostitution, abortion and euthanasia have been legalized. They abolished the death penalty back in the late 1800s, supported women’s suffrage in 1917, and have legalized gay marriage. ALL of these issues help place the Netherlands at or near the top of world indexes for quality of life. And THIS is why america will continue going downhill - because the republicans and their supporters are a bunch of hateful, spiteful individuals who are obsessed with policing people’s bodies, what they do in the bedroom and with whom and they’re greedy, selfish and don’t want to have to pay taxes. The vast majority of the budget in the US goes to their bloated military. They spend more money on their perpetual war machine than the next 9 or 10 countries combined. And the rubes in that country are more obsessed with hanging onto the arsenal they have in their basement. They’re a bunch of pussies who are afraid of EVERYTHING. Absolutely NOBODY in that country NEEDS an AR-15 to hunt deer. Americans who support the Republican Party would consider the citizens of the Netherlands, and their government, a bunch of “stinking, pinko, liberal, socialist, commies”. So kindly lay off the bullshit lies that if someone in america just works hard enough - they too can enjoy this sort of life. It’s a bloody lie and you know it. This entire way of life, this ethos - is embraced by a nation as a whole and it stems from a REAL Christian ideal of doing what is best for EVERYONE I.e. the concept of “the greater good”. The mentality among the Christian Right and their supporters is very much: We’re Right, everybody else’s way of thinking is Wrong and by God - it’s going to be OUR way or the highway. The words “cooperate” and “compromise” are nowhere in their vocabulary. Here in Europe we REALLY understand the meaning of “quality of life”. Too many Americans view quality of life as having the right to beat their fellow citizens into submission with their bibles and force THEIR religious beliefs on an entire country - the majority of whom want NO part of it.

It is hard to imagine living in such a home, in such surroundings and with such a sweet family of both two- and many-legged beings, but it definitely looks heavenly. 😊

While I have to agree on the Nordic genes, a healthy lifestyle is the main thing in this family. Lou Lou (lol) no Nordic genes in her!!

This was a " Fantastic " video. It is so beautiful over there. The girls are so adorable.

I lived in the Netherlands for 3 years. What a beautiful country with beautiful wonderful people. I loved it. When I retire, it is one of the countries that I am thinking about returning to.

Love this village, everything is in walking distance. Smooth roads, stone tiled driveways, the businesses all right there, next to each other, so well designed, organized No traffic, no chaos. Kids can ride their bikes to school, no crime, so peaceful. Be home for lunch. Amazing. The street lamps in the circular, those buildings, it's so good. No potholes at all. That is how it should be, simple, accessible, breezy, at ease, convenient, functional. The fact it's all walking distance, I would be walking circles in that town. So good. So BLESSED

I'm from Minnesota and had an opportunity to visit your interesting and beautiful country A wonderful trip it was. I also had a mini dachshund just like Loulou. I lost her a few years ago after sharing life with her for 16 years...miss her dearly and always will. A most loving and affectionate companion she was. Dachs always search for comfort...ours used to amuse us watching them “arrange their comfort nests to perfection. She looks very healthy, bright eyed and not overweight. Also her back is not concave (something which affects this breed, mainly standards.).Lovely family and location. Please show more! Cheers.

I love Holland & this brings back so many memories. I lived in Hellevoetsluis about 40 years ago though I can't remember the name of the road. But I do remember how everybody had huge plants in their houses & there was a great bar with live jazz music. I also recall these 3 bunkers near the water. And I love Loulou!!

What a nice place to live, all the land, the fields, beautiful sunsets, and so clean and stress-free it seems. You give your dogs Loulou and Coco so much variety in their raw food diets. I watched one of your other videos. Each serving is like a new item off the menu and it prob keeps their interest up whenever they get fed.

I love Dachshunds behavior, it could be sometimes a little bit unpredictable, but they are full of energy, love, and compassion. When I see Loulou in your videos, I can see my little Sissi (my brown Dachshund) on her behavior. They are so lovely. Thanks for sharing your videos ;)
