Louisiana Multi-Species Fishing | Catch N Cook
Спорт
In this episode, I go fishing for tripletail, redfish, spadefish, trout and black drum in Louisiana with my good friend Captain Blake from Tripletail Charters and later we have a Catch N Cook at Cajun Fishing Adventures. We started the day fishing for sand trout and the bite was very good. After catching over a dozen trout, we moved to a different spot and found a few black drum and a redfish. The conditions were very tough with winds over 25mph. I managed to catch a huge spadefish, which we kept for the Catch N Cook. Shortly after, we headed back to Cajun Fishing Adventures to clean and cook all the fish caught. Ryan brought out an electric saw and knife and proceeded to filet every fish we caught. After filleting every fish, Ryan and I took the meat into the kitchen to cook. Ryan and I brought the fish fillets to the kitchen, and his chefs cooked them on the grill with oil and spices. We all took a bite of every fish, and the spadefish was the favorite! The Louisiana Catch N Cook was a huge success, I tried drum and spadefish for the first time, and we managed to catch fish despite the weather.

It's pretty funny how with the amount of fishing Josh does how little of fish he's tasted. Every time I've seen him cook a fish it wss his first time trying it lol.
LOVE that you showed how skilled Ryan was at filleting those fish. Reminds me of long days catching & eating in Florida. Thanks!

Josh does it again !!!! Videos like his show the reality of fishing. The real grind an angler goes through to get the catch. Keep up the good work and get to Tennessee with us and chase some freshwater monsters... Thanks & Tight Lines, USCG Captain Scott Manning, US Army - Veteran
Well now I'm hungry for some good ol fried fish...i love Cajun cooking. Great catch and cook video!
Do more catch n cooks
Oh man! I can’t wait to get out to the beach and fish!(4 hour drive thought)
Please do more catch n cooks, I love these videos 👊👍.
Heeeeeee dogie! Gotta love that freshly cooked and caught fish ! Spade ♠️ fish 🐠 a 10 !
What a great video bro!! Those guys where awesome
Blacktip, its been a blast watching you transition from chicken nuggets to real, fresh caught, fish. Great stuff. Well done.
Another great video, Josh! All of those fish looked so good. I've rewound it twice to try and figure out how they cooked it. It was tossed in flour, grilled with olive oil and had worcestershire sauce squirted on one side.... I'm totally going to try that next time we have a white fish. I don't think we can get any of those here, but I'll keep my eye out for it! xoxox Heather🇨🇦
MY TOP 5: golden tile, flounder/fluke, mangrove snapper, Snow grouper, atlantic cod, oh and Black tip H.
Blacktiph i learned fishing from you only. you are my best teacher love u
Great fishing great eating great people... what else can you ask for.
That was really cool, a bunch of new fish to experience for the first time. I'm not really into eating fish but I'm trying to expand my pallet, this looks perfect! "You live a really sheltered life" lol that guy was a mans man. Had a lot of fish but he snuck pork in too haha
Glad to see people that know how to clean fish for once on KZread. Too many people do it the old fashion way
Best fishing channel on youtube!
Omg I’m from Louisiana, also I love your Chanel soooooo much ❤️❤️
I enjoy the traditional feeling of using an actual fillet knife 👍
We go Spade fishing all the time. We bow up with black bass, triggers, etc. Spades spin in the water when you catch them, other fish will come up and watch the one being caught. Bring some CD's and hang em off the boat as "teasers"!! U can catch millions!!! We fish a old coca cola truck that's next to the bridge....
Do more catch and cooks these are great
love your videos keep up the fishing
I love fish. And fishing.
That is actually so cool and looks so fun I wish I could do that someday !!!

If i recall correctly it was in the 20s late November early December in Louisiana in 2018. Also the humidity doesn't seem to dip that much when it gets cold here. So it's a very wet cold also
Catch spadefish all the time fishing off docks in Florida. Never knew they were good to eat

they're only good for some things. Like carving a brisket.
As someone that fishes the north east and still fishes inshore and off shore in December I'm really wondering if you even know what cold is.
Redfish is my favorite fish to eat you need to try it fried.
Those were actually nice sized sand trout
Seems like the fishery has recovered well
DUDE THAT'S A G-G-GIAAANNT
I’ve been waiting for. Finally
Black Drum are my favorite inshore fish to eat when they’re around that Medium size....And what Rod we’re you using by the way, it brought in the red smoothly
Good video
4 minutes? Wow!
he is eating good tonight
Can't believe you haven't seen or used the electric knife for fish! I always use one!
I've always cleaned my fish with an electric. Just gotta cut the ribs out. But you can clean a ton of fish in a short time!!!!
We used to catch so many spade fish we would get tired of them and throw them back, they would school up so big that you wouldnt be able to lift a net if you threw one
Yeah I live in Louisiana
Best fishing KZreadr then rawfishing

Can you use a 7ft X-Heavy rod, size 8000 reel with 80lb braid for sharks 100lbs or less? I've caught small 10-15lb sharks with it but I don't know if it can handle bigger sharks, what do u think
😮 wow
What combo were you using?
Josh next time you come to Louisiana can you come to St.James parish
Sand trout is real good eating
Watching you freak out at an electric knife makes me laugh...I’ve been cleaning the family fish since I was 12 years old and I’ve always used electric...over the years as I’ve burned them out my Mom has bought me new ones, but next year I’m heading home and I’m gonna get a nice one. Gonna need it for the next 10 years as me and my Dad crush em!
You're telling me people dont know about powered fillet knives? thats all I know up here in Minnesota!
Wow take me with you
sometimes when I go fishing I can catch coolers full of atlantic spadefish.
Hogfish!
Im from malaysia and i love fishing
Louisiana but there's Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the first few seconds
No hate but waste so much meat when you use that knife on bigger fish. Gotta take you time and put care into the filets otherwise not worth it.
