With the home farm flooded, the crew heads to Northern Luisiana to try and punch their tag on a Louisiana Eastern. The boys get eyes on a group of birds and put them to roost and set up the next morning to hopefully catch them at fly down... Keep your eyes out for more videos following our attempt at the 7 day slam!

I killed the first bird on my farm in 1992 in my cow pasture. This year 2024 I killed the first one killed on the opposite side of the dirt road . Almost equal portions on both sides and the side we live on is almost totally forested. This bird had left before season for 6 seasons only to return in October/November every year . Until this year he was the only gobby with 1 to 4 hens . He was very unique as he was a tripple beard . We don't grow great spurs here , and he had only 1 ¼ inch spurs , weighed 21 ¼ lb and had 11 ⅛ , 9 ⅛ and a 8 ⅞ beards . Scored just over 102 and would not make the top 100 in Georgia but I'm proud of him . I understand the pride in your own ground Cole ! Good luck guys on the 7 day slam . I've done the single season slam 2 times once with the 12 Ga and once with the 20 ga so I know how hard this quest can be .
